  1. yeah I'm fully vaccinated-I just go on with life at this point. Yeah we still have to do the dog and pony show of masks in the grocery store but other than that's it's back to normal for me. - sidebar-the local grocery stores took out the one way aisle markers and killed the PA address every 5 minutes about "proper social distancing" (which no one has done for the better part of 9 months now....)
  2. it's amazing someone could hang on that long. I bailed after 6-8 weeks-couldn't take it anymore....
  3. I think that's still up in the air whether they are needed or not....let's hope not and that the main shots last for years
  4. the true pop up cold pool showers were SW of us in PA and NJ just like models showed. Most of CT was stratus clouds and mid 50's but dry today.
  5. where's all the rain? Bone dry here all day. 54
  6. yeah I'd agree with this. Most of the rain events have underperformed as well.
  7. Likely past the worst of it and things will be fine through the fall. Next winter there could be some issues when we head back inside and seasonality trends kick in.....however many will be fully vaccinated by then so who knows...one would think this thing eventually burns out one way or the other
  8. Parts of TX and FL are likely up there. Cheaper living, lots of land. less taxes and nice weather will do that!
  9. yep, death brings out greed and people's true colors
  10. Deep thoughts there-but mostly agree
  11. pros and cons to everything-this part of CT is very expensive but we get good schools and real estate holds value due to lack of buildable land. Once my kids are grown we'll have to look at some other options. Doesnt make sense to pay high taxes once schools arent a factor
  12. move to Watertown NY-tons of snow, the houses are not worth much....tell momma to take an Uber up to visit every month
  13. yeah alot of people saying here on the home inspection-do one, but don't ask for anything to be fixed.....
  14. The internet has definitely dumbed down humanity....
  15. basicially you could see a pop up shower at anytime, but afternoon is favored as sun will destabilize the cold pool of air aloft. Usually dies down after sunset.
  16. Tricky call. There's an offshore storm and then a front to the west. Will they interact or stay separate? Hopefully the coastal robs the moisture and we stay dry.
  17. I know the builders are sending ltrs to people in smaller capes and ranches around here-a few have taken them up on the offer to leave-the demo crew comes in and a bigger house goes up...good point above on the lack of small/starter homes-no one builds those anymore.
  18. it's insane around here-even more so than the 2006 peak. Stuff that went for 500K now goes for 650 or even 700K in hours. Literally no inventory....
  19. completely agree-especially with regard to any topic-any debate is somehow "offensive"
  20. yeah we wouldn't want any opposing points of view.....get a grip people.
  21. .73 here last night. Heaviest rains in awhile. Washed away the pollen which is great.
  22. yeahs warm fronts always have trouble this time of year-seems models underestimate the still cold Atlantic....
  23. yep warm front right on the M/D line. lots of rain to the north of it.
  24. dry begets dry. Everything has underperformed here...until we get something big, I'll go drier every time.
