    Had a good friend that went to a wedding Friday night, wasn't feeling well. Went for a walk with his mom and sister around the pond, than had a brain aneurysm and died on the spot at 26 years old. Enjoy each day with your family and friends.

    Great day on the beach yesterday, some decent storms about to move through. Not as strong as I originally thought they would be, lake breeze doing work.

    Should be quite a few 90 degree readings today and tomorrow. Perfect beach day!

    Summer solstice is a week away. Looks like a chance of storms this weekend and early next week. Temps look to remain around normal in the upper 70s. A sunset from a few nights ago, and a picture from Emery park today. Hope everyone is enjoying summer!

    Just got back from Miami for 10 days. I come back to 6" of snow the last 2 days. Its so depressing to me this time of year. I want to wear shorts and a tank top. I also want to go for nice humid night walks and roll down my windows while I drive. Cold March and Aprils are just brutal. Cannot wait for some warmth and sun!

    Congrats on the forecast and the great storm. Were you measuring hourly? You were updating your total every hour on the forums. Isn't it supposed to be 6 hour increments? I got scolded back in Nov 2014 for doing measurements every 4-5 hours.

    Intellicast radar works for Erie as well as cod dupage radar. There is still some spotty coverage though.

    I’ve been following their radar since the early season big events. They’re definitely over estimating based on what I’ve seen. Radar showed very little for Erie airport and they’re reporting totals higher than other places in which should of had more. They must have gotten a new met to measure this year.

    2024 totality is dead center across Metro Buffalo but feel like it would be so much better to see at the top of a mountain, but that time of year is tough in the Adirondacks. It's also a really cloudy month as well, so will be interesting to see if it would even be visible.
