  1. Hate to see it, but still plenty of time for more changes...
  2. The Lions do have a 4th place schedule to look forward to. Provided they get a good OC and can managed to stay healthy (Lions + 49ers have both had the worst luck with injuries for multiple season), things can only go up.
  3. I'm not convinced Belichick wasn't a Tom Brady merchant... Gronk wasn't either, which is why he followed Brady to TB...
  4. The latest model runs and forecasts Friday - Sunday might peak your interest..m
  5. Welp, Bear down for good and ain't getting back up this time... (BTW, I caught Mike Tirico calling them the "Cinderalla Bears," LOL!!!)
  6. Looks like the models are indicating a possible I-94 / I-96 LES convergence band in Michigan, all the way over to the Detroit area...
  7. Out of curiosity, what was the total QPF? At first inspection, it seems this also happened to be a powdery snow. So it was a combination of models busting on the timing of phasing and a bullseye of forcing right in the DGZ.
  8. We had some surprise stratiform rain last week (it only amounted to a couple tenths of an inch) in the midst of what's been an otherwise extended dry spell, and yeah, the roads were also trash.
  9. The biggest bust was February 4-6, 2011. DTW getting 6" exactly with this event though is funny...
  10. Looks that way. OBS sites around the Detroit area have been reporting moderate/heavy snow for the past 2 hours.
  11. I came into this thread expecting to see posts weenie-ing out over the surprise 1-3" of snow with near-blizzard conditions (pics included). Instead, I see nothing but whining about the headlines (or lack thereof). Gotta love it...
  12. I'll be sure to troll bump when it happens on 1/18 or 1/25. FTP *AND* FBJ
  13. The Bears are this season's Commanders. They'll inevitably get obliterated in the NFCCG at the latest. But I hope fans enjoy the rush while it lasts!
  14. I mean, even if it were cold enough for snow, it's still not a favorable track for most. So it makes no any how...
  15. DFW made it to 80*F again today, though the record high was quite safe at 88*F.
  16. DFW made it to 80*F yesterday, and yet that was still a few degrees shy of the record high (83*F).
  17. Avergae highs for DFW this time of year are in the mid 50s.
  18. Pretty (somewhat unexpected) active morning across the OKC Metro this morning with widespread severe t'storm warnings and even a couple tornado warnings. The last time this happened in January was 2021, which foreshadowed a very (for some folks, historic) cold/stormy pattern the following month.
  19. Since you didn't make location a condition (as your lifetime condition frankly just ain't fair for a lot of us younger folks from the Detroit area), I would say GHD 1 in Chicago...
  20. It's definitely michsnowfreak's time for sure this winter Nickel & dimed to death, but mostly consistent snowcover and cold, lol...
