  1. The rains have hit Augusta, suspending play there.
  2. 72°F here now. High 73°. First 70° of the season. Don't expect another one until possibly near the end of the month.
  3. Yeah, the GFS @ day 6-7 has 30" of snow for parts of central ME on the fantasy snow maps. And it has another 30" for the remainder of the run, lol. 57°F here now. Max was 58°.
  4. It seems that this winter the models have shown us that at 7 days out a snowstorm has about a 10% chance of verifying, while at 7 days out a rainstorm has about a 90% chance of verifying.
  5. The Euro has 2-4"+ of qpf over the 6 state region the next 10 days, so drought hysterics are a bit premature if that verifies. And we are just going into the seasonal time for spring rains.
  6. This is to be expected. Some on here told us we would pay for this nice March weather.
  7. Careful with those adjectives...Tip has scolded for using "massive".
  8. This will be a good first test of how the new GFS performs at day 5. Granted it is only one run, but just saying.
  9. Coming from you, that's really funny.
  10. For every one of those maps from NOAA, there is also one like this: https://www.weather.gov/mkx/030814_Record_Ice_Coverage_on_Lake_Michigan
  11. Quite the start for the new GFS today for north central Maine - 73" total run snowfall on the 18z, lol.
  12. You can always tell here when a less than stellar winter season has come to an end.
  13. The 3k has been consistent for many runs with your area getting hit pretty good.
  14. RAP has it going until almost noon here. Drops 0.5" qpf between 11z and 17z.
  15. Yeah, it gives my hood 5" for about 6 hours of snow. Decent rate. I'll be sleeping through most of it, lol.
  16. I jacked on the last 2 storms, so I'm pulling for the hat trick on this one.
  17. Goofus still a sheared mess, although qpf did tick up, but nowhere near what other models show.
