    Fall is off to a mild start in these parts. Oct looks fairly warm for KC.

    Crazy flooding. Grew up in North Jersey for 27 years till 2019 and that has to be some of the worst flooding I’ve seen. They’ve had bad floods before ie Floyd but this was just a crazy amount of water in such a short time.

    Are we thinking this Nina ends up with an early peak in December? Similar to last year. With a slow warming trend later in the winter.

    I recall Gustav having a feature like this in New Orleans at the start of the storm.

    Very early though lately there has been. Talk of another Nina so there is that. Long term forecasting is just so a crap shoot this far out. Be interesting to see if the dry north / wet south pattern that’s in place can withstand in the long term.

    Quiet storm season for the most part so far here in KC. Mostly just stratiform rains this spring with a storm or two mixed in.

    Picked up about an inch of snow on cars grass ect. Crazy for 4/20.

    It loads really slow too. The product just isn't very useful in its current state.

    GFS tries too rap some snow through the KC region on Thursday but at this point seems as if its alone. Ton of much needed rain here the last couple days

    Its fun for sure. Nice burst here in KC. Might pick up a quick coating to an inch.Nice new dusting on everything here. Surprise snow is always the best snow.

    Congrats to all. Around 2 inches this morning and two the other say. Not bad considering how far I was. Hope all get there power back soon. I’m excited to follow severe season in here as well.

    Light snow up here in KC. Nice and fluffy. Everything coating up nice. Looking like an inch of two coming up this way. 5F

    Good luck down there. Hoping to snag an inch or two as it drifts north.

    It will be interesting for sure. No two events are the same, but similar happened up here when the comma head rotated through yesterday. Might not be a huge deal but may make the difference between an inch vs 3 or 4 in a few spots. I think Witch up to Topeka get in on at least a bit of that.
