I feel like it's not too much of a stretch to include all the way to NM/AZ based on that radar. I was talking to family in NM yesterday and I couldn't recall the last time we shared a winter storm warning.

Melissa very close to the top of the Atlantic list whatever measure you want to use and it's making landfall intact. Doesn't really matter if it's rated #1 or #3 on some list.
Lots of streams around Bow have been totally dry or just stagnant pools of water. Been hiking in the area for years and had never seen them dry until this season.
It's pretty wild how cold it is getting out of Lake Tahoe on a hot summer day with that desert dry air and consistent breeze. Been decades but I won't forget that.
It wouldn't take much to exceed Charley in surge for that area. It wasn't a factor. Milton is a lock to exceed the surge and unlikely reach the same type of wind damage in Port C/PG.
