  5. 40/29 Cornelius Warmed up 2 degrees last few hours Think we have another round of heavy 33 degree rain on tap here in North Mecklenburg.
  6. Man that's about 0.75 inches of ice IMBY here on the lake. Would be lights out for many if that comes to pass. Growing up in south GA, this would be my first real experience with ice. Hoping this changes.
  7. No kidding, between 12-12:30 AM, my location in Cornelius, NC got blasted with 1.5 inches. Shame it rained right after and washed it all away.
  8. 34 rain Radar breaking my heart lol Showing snow here but the observations say no
  9. And just like that switch to rain. May have gotten an inch in that 15 minute burst though.
  10. Powder is falling good now. Best snow since Dec 2018
  11. Finally switched back to snow here 34 and moderate snow
  12. 34 and sleet It's weird. Got heavy snow with rain radar returns earlier and now ice pellets with snow radar returns.
  13. Currently sleet in Cornelius. Hoping we get a switch over back to snow.
  14. Fat flakes flying in North Meck by the Lake!
  15. Still getting a 37 temp reading with moderate rain. Rain has picked up quite a bit in the last 15 minutes. No mixed precipitation yet.
  16. So we thinking that earlier HRRR run has a chance to pan out at this point?
  17. Down to 37 here in North Mecklenburg with moderate rain. The temp is 2-3 colder than what was forecast for this hour. Fingers crossed!
  18. You know it neighbor! We haven't really had an invitation to the dance since Dec 2018. We're overdue a good couple inches. That HRRR run has at least infused some hope into the situation. Temps are marginal though. Need to see a drop into the upper 30s in the next few hours to coincide with the incoming plume of moisture. Always a nail biter in these parts lol
  19. Hey neighbor! I'm down at Exit 28 in Cornelius. Fingers crossed that the HRR is on to something. Temperature here down to 47. Gonna need a big time cool down in the next 4-6 hours.
