Reminds me of Blowing Rock in November 2020.
The thickest fog I ever had the displeasure of driving through.
Blue Ridge Parkway from West Jefferson to Blowing Rock. Then 421 back.
The blocking comes just as the lineman looks back at the sacked and defeated dreams of a snowy NC winter QB lying on the ground as the clock strikes triple zeroes.
I've reached the acceptance phase.
Bring on the severe weather storm chasing!
Mother Nature owes me a waterspout that just hovers over Lake Norman and harms no one and destroys nothing.
Besides bemoaning the pathetic Piedmont winter that preceded it, it's all things watersports. Kayaking, paddleboarding, boating. Also have gotten into disc golf the last few years. Fortunate to have a really nice course within walking distance.
Warmed up from 36 to 37 here at Lake Norman last hour.
Bummer.
Thought maybe we could sneak closer to freezing mark before the warm nose crept in to our area.
