  1. I would be surprised now with colder/south trends if anyone (outside maybe coastal SI/LI) will not be above mid/upper 30s during storm, while 95 N&W probably a large amount of frozen/freezing.
  2. Got to use the Kuchera formula, does a great job of separating ice, sleet, and snow, that has about 1-3"/2-4" of snow for most of metro along with much sleet, some ice
  3. Looks like mostly frozen/snow N/C NJ and north with this arctic high pressing and a less wound up storm
  4. GFS is a combo of ice, sleet, and 2-4” snow....pretty nice move south from yesterday of about 75/100 miles...
  5. wherever the boundary sets up, just to its north will get a lot of frozen/snow, right now GFS is mostly north with maybe 1-4” with a little late development, CMC, EURO, UKIE range from near us to well south...
  6. Congrats Scott, must be top 1-4 storm for you? How much you end up with?
  7. Light snow with larger flakes, prob around 1 mile visibility, estimate of around 6.5” - 7.5” but very variable depending on location
  8. moderate fine snow continues, would estimate 0.5 mile vis or so, estimate of 5” - 5.5” or so but hard to tell...
  9. 18Z NAM better initially, than goes back to weird double low structure, still as is 6-12" for most of NYC metro verbatim, but only about 20-30 miles from 12" -18" (NJ coast & C/E LI)
  10. Still snowing, but sun is out...so most all surfaces just wet
  11. Although snow coming down at better clip, not really sticking any longer with sun/temps prob just above freezing
  12. Overall everything still looks on track, GFS improved but also with double barrel, if we can knock that out, monster...if not 6-10"
  13. NAM in reality without the double barrel probable confusion would have been EURO/SREF like, I think that is resolved next model run...even still not a bad storm
