    I read all of the doom and gloom in here, and then I see the standings where the Os are the 1 seed in the AL My Twins are stumbling along, probably to the 5 or 6 seed. Unfortunately, due to injuries they have been starting 3 rookies in the rotation after the all-star break, so that doesn't bode well for the playoffs.

    Cresting the Blue Ridge now. We’ll see exactly how quickly it falls apart. I’ve got 80/71.

    I’m sure you and others have likely posted it many times before, but the dust climo in the MDR is really interesting. I guess I never really thought of how dramatic the peak is early in the tropical season.

    Exactly the same here. Prepped yesterday and will put the seed down this evening. Unfortunately I can only do half of the backyard at once because of the dogs, so I’ve fenced that off and hope that it gains a foothold so that I can do the other half in about a month.

    Per the GFS, 850s are about 3 standard deviations below normal today. Probably the best way to look at it. Really pleasant.
