  1. That cocorahs station SW of IAD that recorded over 5" yesterday is in a radar-indicated spot of 4"+ today. Will be interesting to see the ground truth tomorrow.
  2. That area SW of IAD is getting it again. Unreal.
  3. IAD sneaks in a 90 making it 8 in a row
  4. I’m ready to see how it works for Sunday Ticket tomorrow. The one bummer is that it has always been fun texting/chatting during games, but streaming is like 30 seconds behind and will make that a mess.
  5. Got to the pool. Set our stuff down. They called it due to thunder.
  6. 0.45” with the storms in the 2am hour. That is very welcome. 5.49” on a CoCoRaHS station SW of Dulles.
  7. Got loud quickly, but I’m going to need some building to the west.
  8. A bunch of personal weather stations over 3”. One is over 5”.
  9. Imagine being in Reston and watching a wall of water a couple miles to your west on consecutive days.
  10. Eastern Loudoun getting pounded again. Amazing on consecutive days.
  11. After a week of being 3-4 degrees lower than the airports, for whatever reason I’m running even with them today. 92.7 for my high. Make it end.
  12. Stalling a bit as it goes through the DC beltway area. Still 96 at DCA.
  13. Pair of 98s for far at DCA/BWI. 97 at IAD. That’ll be another record high for IAD, but the records from 1881 will stand at DCA/BWI.
  14. BWI and DCA in the 96 vicinity. IAD has backed down due to clouds.
  15. Noon obs: DCA: 91 IAD: 94 BWI: 94 My station: 92
  16. Temps running pretty similar to yesterday, but more humid at DCA/BWI.
  17. We get a nice NW flow when the hurricane curves off to sea.
  18. Highs as of the 2pm ob: DCA: 94 IAD: 97 BWI: 97
  19. It seems like you’ve just lost contact with the outside unit. I think for some of these the barometer is in the display until. What is your power source outside?
  20. IAD and my station are running slightly ahead of yesterday. BWI about even and DCA a touch behind.
