  1. Exactly. Bob was a HUGE dud in my area. It was quite hyped, and then all we had was heavy showers. The wind here was almost non existatnt
  2. Not at this point. Need to see what the trough is going to do
  3. He may have a big following.. but it means nothing really. And 6 months without power, thats just laughable. I'll throw Neversource under the bus all day, but that allegation is outrageously ridiculous. Media used to know better, now they're just fools
  4. And some wonder why some of us are so harsh on the media! Some organization really said that... or just some HACK on X??
  5. GFS ticked east vs. 12 hours ago... slightly
  6. supposedly yes, however I'm very careful about use in the house. I spray the perimeter of the rim joist area in the basement, and then the same on the exterior. I try not to get any in or near our chinchillas!
  7. Home Defense spray FTW when it comes to ants and spiders in the house... I put that sh*t on everything!
  8. BTDT. We just deal with it. House gets cleaned after a GTG anyway so...
  9. Good time of the year for boring. Crisp, cool fall like morning FTW
  10. No doubt! An inch or more of rain there in a short period and it's like 20 inches of snow here as far as disruption, and ability to handle it
  11. Loving it. Good riddance HHH! Of course the one day I'll be out in the sun all day is this upcoming Sunday at a car show on Governors Island... and it'll be HHH
  12. And yet it's quoted regularly to try and prove or disprove a point. I remember a number of years ago some Mets talking about how comparing recorded temps now and 100 years ago was tenuous at best because methods and equipment are apples and oranges...
  13. Car show Saturday where we actually won't have rain forest levels of humidity, and decent temps... can't wait
  14. Big Time! It's worst than the Black Eyed Peas use of it!! Modern country was awesome in the early/mid 90s and has slowly or not gone downhill ever since
  15. Excellent! We're working on the same thing. We have an old bomb shelter in our side yard that's about the size of 2 econoline vans. Thinking of sealing it up with some sort of membrane and using it as a huge cistern. I can rig up a sump pump from there for a nice off the grid supply. The other half uses a ton of water for plants and It would be a great way to use a feature in the yard that is just taking up space
  16. Most of the damn black knats were gone... now they're back in force. Yard guard spray FTW for Saturday afternoons backyard BBQ
