  1. Because most of us know it's skill isn't as a long range model. Shouldn't run as far out as it does imo
  2. Nope is right. I don't buy that for a second. We've seen that model before and in the end it's just a Consolidated single low Center somewhere
  3. I didn't think it looked bad for back our way but regardless I don't believe it's going to work out like that anyway. I'm not buying the double low thing. We've seen that before and it rarely happens
  4. It's going to be very interesting to see where banding sets up during this. If the low is truly over the Cape for a time, I have a hard time believing the valley does as poorly as some of the clowns show. Seems many times at this lead the heaviest precip is too consolidated near the low center. Modeling doesn't always do well with where the bands end up. And then, there's the latest NAM.... I don't believe that yet either
  5. Several times over the past 40 years I've seen Bradley get practically nothing and Granby center get smoked, so between you and BDL it's actually easy in the right circumstance
  6. Ooof, don't want to think about that right now after a trip to the emergency room last evening. Ended up being some inner ear benign vertigo thing. Scary shit when you've never felt anything near like it before!!!
  7. That right there is just a knife in its credibility. 24 plus with temps where they are...I don't think so. Maybe with an arctic high to the north. Just IMO, but I can't see that happening even if that track verifies
  8. Doesn't matter. NAM still quite a ways out of its useful range
  9. I don't remember those exact details, but I do remember the 32 inches in Simsbury! By far the most difficult, but satisfying storm to plow ever!
  10. It'll be fine over here, thank you very much! and genny is always ready
  11. Only up to 39 in here so far. Clouds moving in quick. I really don't see hitting 50 up this way today
  12. Agreed. Places that can cool enough before it starts and have good enough rates will do OK but I don't think that applies to much of CT. Also, does it really get near 50 today before the cloud cover arrives??
  13. Don't worry, we'll whip you into pseudo valley, sort of hill town shape in no time... By the end of next season
  14. Well... the power may be out, so no power for the toasters
