  1. Doesn't matter. NAM still quite a ways out of its useful range
  2. I don't remember those exact details, but I do remember the 32 inches in Simsbury! By far the most difficult, but satisfying storm to plow ever!
  3. It'll be fine over here, thank you very much! and genny is always ready
  4. Only up to 39 in here so far. Clouds moving in quick. I really don't see hitting 50 up this way today
  5. Agreed. Places that can cool enough before it starts and have good enough rates will do OK but I don't think that applies to much of CT. Also, does it really get near 50 today before the cloud cover arrives??
  6. Don't worry, we'll whip you into pseudo valley, sort of hill town shape in no time... By the end of next season
  7. Well... the power may be out, so no power for the toasters
  8. Never been there... but found a dirt road off Ratlum just north of there that wanders up to the old fire tower on the ridge. A few years back I squeezed the Power Wagon up there. I was stopped by a local asking WTF I was doing. Told him I was inspecting for the utility Co. He said "oh, ok" Advantages of having a utility Co. yellow work truck!
  9. How have they held up this season? Must be a little tough for sure
  10. Agreed! This is the most interesting system we've seen in a while. We didn't get crap here with the blizzard last year, so I'll be watching intently.
  11. This comment wasn't supposed to be directed at you, I was just reacting to what you said about what I expect to hear from certain others this antimeridian...
  12. Understood. It's just possibly not the final outcome is what I mean. Now if other guidance starts tracking the low like this then I'll pay more attention. We still need to get through tomorrow nights event to see if this still holds anyway
  13. LOL in real life we have to deal with increasing numbers of "Karens" and here there's an increasing number of Debbies. Just enjoy the tracking for Christ sakes. And LOL again... I thought you guys thought the GFS is B.S.
  14. Depending on the situation, I would personally put the GFS slightly ahead of it myself (God, that STILL hurts to say) But you hit the nail on the head... they're all lacking. The number 2 analogy kinda works for me regarding guidance and the overall pattern we're in
  15. Yeah looking at it it looks like my areas will be right on the line to start, however as it gets cranking it looks like the snow Line crashes Southeast. Edit: Man, that paragraph could have used a look by Grammarly!
