And yet it's quoted regularly to try and prove or disprove a point. I remember a number of years ago some Mets talking about how comparing recorded temps now and 100 years ago was tenuous at best because methods and equipment are apples and oranges...
Big Time! It's worst than the Black Eyed Peas use of it!! Modern country was awesome in the early/mid 90s and has slowly or not gone downhill ever since
Excellent! We're working on the same thing. We have an old bomb shelter in our side yard that's about the size of 2 econoline vans. Thinking of sealing it up with some sort of membrane and using it as a huge cistern. I can rig up a sump pump from there for a nice off the grid supply. The other half uses a ton of water for plants and It would be a great way to use a feature in the yard that is just taking up space
We had an outbreak of those at my fathers house in Truro MA about 15 years ago. He thought one of the renters was bringing their pets into the house. A chance discussion with a local told him about the caterpillars. I believe there is also a caterpillar who's droppings can cause reactions also.
We had a ton a couple weeks back, but they've pretty much gone early this year... thank God. However we've had more mosquitos than usual, although we rarely have much of any where I live for some reason
Installed a couple weeks back when we had the 80 degree day(s) but haven't run them much. We have chinchillas and they have to be kept under 75 degrees. They're a great pet to have as an excuse to keep the house cool.
