  1. IF the EURO is sniffing something out, you may make up for it Thursday. I love how some here still lives by each run like it's gospel, when they change every run out past 4-5 days...
  2. This brings me to 5.5 inches on the season here.. small victories lol
  3. I'm taking the long way into work this morning through Granville MA. There's always some nice enhancement up there with the elevation
  4. About an inch here in Westfield, pretty decent considering how radar looked last night. Also 6Z GFS is close to something again on the 21st
  5. It's about that time for the next roll of the dice from the GFS. The Euro has what looks like an inverted trough feature on the 21st but the low pressure is far offshore
  6. Central CT was one of the WORST places you could have moved in the State of CT! Whoever gave you that advice was trolling, or just an idiot
  7. Some of us keep saying stop living and dying by each run... it'll look different next time. Same thing will happen with this. Look at the general pattern until we're closer
  8. As the models turn... give it 6 hours and we'll see the next roll of the dice
  9. On the way out to Indiana last weekend I got to see the remnants of the last lake effect blast. RT90 out through Erie was awesome
  10. 1.5 inches of rain... and absolutely no wind of any consequence
  11. That's crazy. Stuck at 36 here in Simsbury, it has to be one of the most raw feeling mornings around here in a while. Feels worse than 18 degrees last week
  12. It's almost comical to toggle back through prior runs and look at the gross inconsistency. I expect this as it's how they've been forever. Like Tip said yesterday, there is some optimism in the PAC, but we just don't know how it will evolve as it's a couple weeks out. I could be wrong, but color me optimistic about the general pattern that's showing vs the last few years
  13. Oh AI, ok! I thought that was a female version of some who post on here.... the holiday time period is no more set in stone today than it was yesterday to those of you bridge jumpers
  14. Some scattered ice on the deck at home, but nothing here in Simsbury. 34 degrees and awaiting meh gusts tomorrow, as always in this area
  15. When I lived in Granby pretty much all but one or two winters since '78 never really snowed until at least Christmas, so that's where my opinion comes from
  16. It's far from lost yet... and usually isn't much of anything in your part of the state anyway, at least until Christmas
  17. Thanks for reminding me I have a prostate biopsy scheduled this week...
  18. This right here is why I'm thankful to have other hobbies and a robust (read that busy, pain in the ass) work life... balance, whatever that is LOL. It's healthy to have other distractions
