  1. As an electrician, my first thought was Hope its on a GFCI ...OR invite us over for fried chicken
  2. It seemed like it, although I don't have much trust in the Euro anymore. It used to be King... now it's just a tool like the NAM
  3. Much warmer this A.M. 26 degrees. Mr. Cox on TIC... after two minutes of hedging says early estimate for CT is 3 to 8 inches. Seems to be quoting the EPS at this point
  4. I think just east of here (Westfield) missed out. We had two inches at the house here but just a few miles down the road in Simsbury at my shop we didn't even have a dusting
  5. She's a beaut Clark... hoping I can use the I told you so on Monday Curious to see how the 10th trends, I can't see that far yet
  6. Well... a lot of the snow we received in 96 was modeled to be rain in SNE a week out. Many that year trended colder close in. Vastly different modeling accepted

  8. Well some... yeah I see that, but far from everyone. However it is the first "threat" that's showing up in a while, and IS something legit to watch for now. It's something to look at this evening while I'm trying to keep the eyes open awaiting midnight tonight.
  9. just looking for something to track. It doesn't necessarily have to work out in my eyes. I'm just happy to see a little atmospheric reshuffle
  10. LOL yeah, I remember the 80s well. You figure it had to happen again at some point... just please, not the hair
  11. Why not post the latest GFS out in LA LA land, and not an old run? A little different I would say, and also why looking that far ahead in this pattern is just downright foolish
  12. December is USUALLY not a thing in CT anyway so...? Sure it will usually feel more wintry but I never expect much for snow
  13. That's a good idea. Better do it before some here fire up the 2024 lawn thread
  14. Time to break out an old classic for D.I.T.
  15. 1990 was terrible. We were doing some electrical rough ins on new houses. There were a couple days in January and February where were were wearing T shirts by noon. 1989 wasn't much better except for the Thanksgiving storm. I was lucky enough to be on the Cape for that! Talk about a surprise storm! Forecasters in the area couldn't keep up. We ended up with 18 inches in Truro
  16. Seems like quite the high pressure that's plowing right through... an evolution guaranteed to change 50 times between now and then, but some forget this
  17. That works... because one of my guys got his bucket truck stuck in his back yard trying to install Christmas lights and we need it for a job... Ain't coming out til the ground hardens
  18. Exactly. It's been all over the place. If something good pops it's going to be within 5 days. Too much run to run discontinuity. AND... pea soup again here tonight. We had several slick spots this morning due to the fog
  19. The GFS... 3 or so days ago lol
  20. Yeah... Mr. Weenie Intoleris forecasts leave something to be desired... like every other social media forecaster.
  21. Sporadic black ice and fog on the way to the office this A.M. although fog isn't nearly as thick here as last night. 34 degrees
  22. Toxic positivity LO Effing L thats a new one! Spoken like a true snowflake...
  23. It was getting thick heading from Simsbury back to Westfield about a half hour ago!
