  1. Funny, SOO glad to be out of (living) in CT. I just NEVER understood the appeal of West Hartford... you couldn't pay me to live there!
  2. We had a sporadic dusting. It was more widespread just down into Southwick
  3. As an electrician, my first thought was Hope its on a GFCI ...OR invite us over for fried chicken
  4. It seemed like it, although I don't have much trust in the Euro anymore. It used to be King... now it's just a tool like the NAM
  5. Much warmer this A.M. 26 degrees. Mr. Cox on TIC... after two minutes of hedging says early estimate for CT is 3 to 8 inches. Seems to be quoting the EPS at this point
  6. I think just east of here (Westfield) missed out. We had two inches at the house here but just a few miles down the road in Simsbury at my shop we didn't even have a dusting
  7. She's a beaut Clark... hoping I can use the I told you so on Monday Curious to see how the 10th trends, I can't see that far yet
  8. Well... a lot of the snow we received in 96 was modeled to be rain in SNE a week out. Many that year trended colder close in. Vastly different modeling accepted
  9. It is here! Out in the shop finishing up an engine build for a friends Baja Bug. Spiced cider moonshine... just a sip for now. Now, did I remember to tighten those head studs?...
  10. Well some... yeah I see that, but far from everyone. However it is the first "threat" that's showing up in a while, and IS something legit to watch for now. It's something to look at this evening while I'm trying to keep the eyes open awaiting midnight tonight.
  11. just looking for something to track. It doesn't necessarily have to work out in my eyes. I'm just happy to see a little atmospheric reshuffle
  12. LOL yeah, I remember the 80s well. You figure it had to happen again at some point... just please, not the hair
  13. Why not post the latest GFS out in LA LA land, and not an old run? A little different I would say, and also why looking that far ahead in this pattern is just downright foolish
  14. December is USUALLY not a thing in CT anyway so...? Sure it will usually feel more wintry but I never expect much for snow
  15. That's a good idea. Better do it before some here fire up the 2024 lawn thread
  16. Time to break out an old classic for D.I.T.
  17. 1990 was terrible. We were doing some electrical rough ins on new houses. There were a couple days in January and February where were were wearing T shirts by noon. 1989 wasn't much better except for the Thanksgiving storm. I was lucky enough to be on the Cape for that! Talk about a surprise storm! Forecasters in the area couldn't keep up. We ended up with 18 inches in Truro
  18. Seems like quite the high pressure that's plowing right through... an evolution guaranteed to change 50 times between now and then, but some forget this
