  1. Got that right. Earlier evolutions had it shunted southeast
  2. 12Z GFS trying for the Blizz of '78 TRACK on Feb 4th, backs the low right over Long Island. Obviously will change a thousand times between now and then
  3. I'm not greedy like some here, I'll take anything that gets the ground white. As of this morning we're down to about 40 percent coverage in the yard at home. Surprised there's anything left with the heavy rain overnight. 36 degrees
  4. Curls back up under SNE instead of out to sea to the southeast. Way too early to know if it's really any good yet though... and the long range GFS solutions just look strange lately, not sure what to make of it
  5. 6Z GFS suddenly has a vastly different solution for next weekend with the "clipper"
  6. 18Z GFS looks more... interesting than the Euro? I didn't get to look at the 12z yet so I can't say whether it looks better or worse
  7. Worked out pretty well for me so far, but I still wish I could move up to the Berks. As far as this system, we all should know this isn't done trending one way or the other
  8. Kind of what the Euro was showing last evening. And then the low chasing the low up the coast several days later is interesting
  9. Same thought / question here. Get that little kinked wave involved more. EDIT: I see Tip already answered
  10. The key if you can is staying off the limited access highways and trying to take back roads if you're able to. Way too many people get sucked into taking the highway and it is the absolute worst place to be during any sort of snow event
  11. That's the biggest load of Horse Hocky I've ever heard, especially seeing what it does to newer vehicles. Got to love marketing
  12. Exactly. I seriously doubt there will be two distinct low pressure centers either. I think I've seen the GFS try that one before..
  13. Clear Lane actually... WAY more metal eating than old fashioned salt. Stuff is terrible
  14. That would be fun, but good luck with that. We got really really spoiled in this area for many years, the '80s have to come back through the door at some point
  15. 3/4 inch overnight brings me to 23 inches for the season in Westfield
  16. .75 here in Westfield. Brings us to 23 on the season
  17. Snowing pretty decent here, but it's still 33 degrees. If anything is going to accumulate it's going to take some work
