  1. I look at that and strangely hear "Welcome to Fenway Park!"
  2. Here as well. Been so long it kinda feels like the first flakes in late fall
  3. Local lawn services out in FULL force the last few days in my area. Even my lawn has grown to the point of needing a first cut in a few areas. Need to tune up the tractor this weekend to be ready...
  4. As much as I despise EVs... you're absolutely correct
  5. Power Wagon FTW! The best for storm duty, the electric lockers are awesome in deep snow.... whatever that is
  6. Agree, although I've come to prefer the recumbent bike. Feels WAY easier on my knees
  7. December Strong gusts this morning in Westfield with flurries and 29 degrees
  8. I'd be curious to see info from March 1991. IIRC that was one of the fairly snowless warm winters in the string of late 80s early 90s period. I was driving back from Florida and we hit a large snowstorm on march 22nd. Ran through it from D.C. to CT. I remember thinking that was the beginning of some good winters after basically four years of nothing EDIT: I'm sure Will can remember the exact details in 4.8725 seconds...
  9. Sure, but "normal... WTF ever that is, can be boring
  10. I've been told, but never tried it myself that you should put down crab grass control in the fall to the moss areas. Like I said, never tried it because i like the moss, but I know a couple people that swear by it, along with the obvious lime (pelletized lime FTW) etc.
  11. P. Allen... Swish? Well, I noticed yesterday that the lawn is starting to grow in certain areas already. New green shoots sprouting all over areas of the back yard. Also tons of chives already, some are already 5 inches or so tall
  12. Looks like you'll have to settle for GFS... or CMC
  13. 41 and lots of bird song this A.M. Also realized the grass in our back yard is starting to grow in certain areas... as well as chives that are 5 inches tall. SO many chives in the lawn for some reason haha
  14. I've actually known both of those poor men. I mean, Richard Head meant the same thing 70 years ago... WTF were their parents thinking
  15. Oh come on... you get used to it after a while
  16. March 10th SNE snowstorm... I'll believe it when I'm cursing the fact that I packed away the snowblower
  17. There's some beautiful houses in Soda Springs and the surrounding areas... I drool over them on Zillow. Husband would kill me if we moved somewhere that got that much snow
