From what I saw here, the only ones hyping it were the weenies here... and all those absurd, useless forecasters on YouTube... Said it for years, STOP looking out past two weeks! 15 degrees in Westfield this A.M.
Something will probably pop somewhere here or close because I'm driving from Westfield to Terra Haute Indiana very early Saturday. Hope to make it back Sunday evening although a weather delay on the way back wouldn't be the worst thing....
I've lived in the Northern CT area for 54 years... and December has ALWAYS been an iffy month. Many more times than not we've gotten very little snow until the very end of the month. Some here talking like it's the first week of February LOL
A word of advice, i learned long ago not to get my hopes up 2 weeks out and beyond. It's great to look at patterns however keep your expectations in check
Lots of ice in Westfield this morning. Heard the truck spreading treatment about 3 am. Everything they put down yesterday surely washed away with yesterday's rain...
Well, looks like the MA state D.O.T. are getting an early start on O.T. for the season... they striped the state roads overnight with their finest vehicle dissolving solution. Rt 10 looks like a gray and black candy cane
Well not sure where that is coming from... even in northern CT Snow in December before Christmas is pretty rare, and in the WeHa area quite a bit more so. Not the norm for sure unless you're talking snow showers etc. I like the upcoming look in general, but would rather see it showing after the 15th or so.
We do still need the rain, and still early to really hope for snow. Let's wait till mid December. Actually if it's going to snow it'll probably happen the weekend of December 7th. I've got to run out to Terre Haute Indiana and back that weekend. Long drive so I don't need any weather delays
Some mangled flakes mixed in traveling through Southwick this a.m. Would have taken a joy ride through Blandford and Granville on the way in this morning but the Power Wagon is in the shop for some 200K maintenance. 35 and drizzle in Simsbury
