  1. Don't You'll wake up DIT. I hate ice... but it's great to boost generator sales, so maybe I shouldn't hate
  2. Had 11 degrees in Westfield, now 15 in Simsbury
  3. Funny, right up the street we're just about average for this point. Your area has always been a snow hole in CT with several very good years the last couple decades
  4. Keeping an eye, but expecting flurries here. Probably one where there's a super sharp cutoff between an inch or two and nada. But... cue the weenies if one of the Mesos throws out an "interesting" solution today
  5. The push of that high is TBD at this point. Personally i am kinda hoping next Thursday will end up 45 degrees, we have rooftop work and a crane delivering a new HVAC unit to a customer... so the pattern will probably morph into a cold / snow scenario
  6. Maybe he should start a thread for Friday 15 degrees at the office this A.M. Roads are still a mess, looks like it just stopped snowing
  7. Adding in today's total, I'm at 21.25 inches
  8. Makes me wonder (slightly) if they haven't sniffed out Friday correctly.
  9. Just changed back to snow here in westfield. Just as I finished snow blowing the driveway
  10. Thanks Will. How you get weenies for that just shows the intelligence of some here... unreal
  11. Suddenly sleet / snow in simsbury. Still moderate snow in Westfield
  12. Doing really well in Simsbury as well. Closing in on 2 inches
  13. Stop at INSA before hitting the streets... not a care in the world Still snowing really decent in Simsbury, about 1.25 so far
  14. Really picked up in Simsbury the last 20 minutes. Roads covered again quickly
  15. Half inch in Simsbury. I thought we would have more here than home, but this is typical
  16. You didn't just say that, did you Thanks, I needed a laugh this afternoon after dic*ing around with the old snowblower the last few hours
  17. I see it as a sign of the times as in how certain individuals personalities have changed, and how they react to situations and other individuals. It's quite evident even in my daily life. Dealing with attitudes of those under 30 is QUITE different to say the least. That feel or attitude seems to show up in these forums, just like our daily work life. I'd love to blame it all on social media, but that certainly isn't all that's caused it. On another note, I don't think it's logical to call recent winters fleeting as if we'll never have another good one again. I've lived through too many long stretches that were worse than this. It was only a couple years ago we had a couple that were really good, and some more than that only a couple years prior
  18. Thanks for moving them here. It's easy to see something you want to respond to without realizing it's in the wrong thread...
  19. 80s were far worse... speaking of the general SNE area
  20. After yesterday afternoons squall, in Westfield I'm at 17.75". In Simsbury I don't know exactly, but I believe about 12.5"
  21. I have certainly observed what you're talking about. It seemed to me things changed when the Effyouweather board shut down... coincidence? Then again, there are a lot of younger posters who probably just got spoiled with great snow years and this is the 2020s so. It amazes me how some complain that a 2 to 4 deal sucks. I've lived through many years when we could barely buy those
  22. Really coming down here in the last 15 minutes. Looks like we've got close to a half an inch with this last round
