  1. Interesting, as it's not known to correct quickly. NAM on the other hand will probably have its foot for all run at 0Z tonight lol
  2. Likewise. Too many times it has burned us. I do agree with Kevin that sometimes it sniffs out a warm layer, but I'm not sure about that with this type of system. Whatever happens, we need that secondary to close quick otherwise I could see it being closer to correct.
  3. Isn't this nearly the time frame the NAM did a 180 last storm? Will be interesting to see if there's any trend this evening.
  4. Has happened quite a bit lately. Probably from all of us seeing the post and inundating their server lol
  5. You can't say that 100 percent either. Even the Euro shows frozen down into CT. I feel there's lots on here Meh'ing anything now that doesn't show a foot plus. Lots of MA could easily be in for a good accumulation
  6. This still has a good amount of snow in my area, where it showed nothing a couple days ago. Does this algorithm count sleet in accums? Obviously clown map mode applies regardless
  7. Agreed, just a gut feeling. Or, at least hold serve where the GFS is now. Even then though, need to get those mid levels to close
  8. Except for the fact that it's too early to use the NAM and the GFS has had quite a good track record this winter especially compared to the euro (still pains me to say that)
  9. I think it was back in 2015 we had 2 events that were a little over 6 inches of snow, and then several inches of sleet. It was a BEAR to plow, but I'd take that again in a heartbeat. It's the only time I remember having anywhere near that much sleet here and it happened twice the same year.
  10. Yup. No one should be getting nervous about the NAM at this range. Only need to go back to the last event for proof
  11. Not just this year either. Seems like ever since the upgrade it lost its doctoral degree. It pains me to say I trust the GFS quite a bit more at this point
