  1. To this day I'll never believe some if the totals for '78 in regards to northern CT especially WOR. Compared to what we saw in Granby area they seem quite under done. Understandable the wind made measuring difficult but I don't buy lots of those measurements
  2. Sweet Sweet sled! I've never had a breakdown in any of the ski doos I've owned, and I've put on some serious miles
  3. I couldn't find H5 on Zillow. You buy a house there yet? JK but hey, at least there's a vestige of something to track
  4. For some, I think this version is more appropriate for this winter season
  5. It was 23 when I got to the office at 5:30 am, down to 15 now. Wind has been howling blowing all the God damned oak leaves everywhere
  6. Elephant ass again? That looks pretty impressive
  7. Oh there's a FAR better version of that song available... just not sure I can post it here! Adult version lol
  8. I was. The first gen REV chassis sleds were the best. I really miss my 2003 X
  9. It hasn't been typical for it to double down on anything in that range this season, but it's still a long way out. At least there's something else to watch besides ball shrinking cold...
  10. Sweet. I have GOT to get back into snowmobiling!!
  11. That REV in the foreground looks exactly like my buddies sled. Nice
  12. Well no, but I guess I understand your point. This comes from a licensed electrician who see these issues fairly regularly. And you're absolutely right, a couple of my guys have solar and love it, but did lots of homework first. "Just do your HW" is the problem... like I said attention span of two year olds. They are the people that have the issues. Their fault sure, but when many of the companies sales pitches are more akin to a scam it can be hard for some to tell.
  13. That's why I wanted a copy of our home mortgage agreement before closing so I could review it. Broker thought I was weird, but it isn't his dime.
  14. This is true, but it isn't easy for the average person to vet a company or product when the majority of the American public has the attention span of a two year old. There's way more bad then good right now, and lots of unlicenced people somehow getting away with doing installs
  15. It would take a lifetime to just scratch the surface! They REALLY don't want you to know, but there's too many issues to hide
  16. 13 degrees. One of the colder mornings in a while.
  17. True to a point, but the cold actually bothered me more when I was younger...its probably the extra R value in the body I'd love to look at records for temps. We remember several days well above 60
  18. Whats interesting is this feels no where near as warm as 88/89. Must be averages vs super warm days. We had many days that month working on new house rough ins wearing t shirts. I haven't felt that this month
  19. That was it! We used to go with a group of 30 guys, the guy who arranged the trip owns Dalene Flooring in CT. We were prepared for the cold so it didn't bother us however a couple sleds needed help to start on morning. A little use of the leatherman allowed us to "Borrow" the hair dryer in one of the bathrooms at a motel to warm their engines Cleaning staff shared their extension cord lol. I wish I could remember where, one night we stayed at this huge log cabin like hotel up in the middle of nowhere. I think it may have been in the Jonquiere area?
  20. Light snow in Westfield starting to coat the non- paved surfaces. 29°
