Normally I try and limit what I spray in the yard but the clover and chickweed went crazy this year. I add a surfactant to a 2 gal pump sprayer from harbor freight and spot treat. Its a chore over a half acre but limits the amount of chemical I put down. Took two treatments about 3 weeks apart to knock 95% of it out. -

It was a great show! Glad everyone was able to get some seats! I followed Weezer up with the Dave Matthews concert on Saturday. Had great weather which was good since we were on the lawn. Happy to enjoy some live music this season. I wish we had a transition between cool/dry and hot/humid. Yesterday I was dripping doing yard work.

HoCo force field in full effect. I actually would like these storms to pass on through as I'll be at Merriweather for the Weezer concert. Luckily decided on seats and not lawn!

Looking at the HRRR smoke product, there appears to be some fires down in NC, and the plume is being pushed due north into our area. Nothing like what was coming from Canada, but apparently we are surrounded by fires

So many times while driving I see stuff and wonder "is that person drunk?" even though its 11AM on a Tuesday.. Maybe I'm not so far off! Although they said "impaired" so I wonder if it was weed/drugs and not alcohol.

Its hot! The crunchy brown grass makes it feel warmer too. Looping through the temperature forecast on the mesos for Saturday is really wierd. East to West cold front?

I just deployed sprinklers in my yard too. Used up the 2x 200gal rain barrels last week. Not looking great for the next couple weeks either.

I was there too! First game ever for my 6yo and my 10yo also had a blast. It was school night so a bunch of the class was there. I haven't been to a game in years, whats the deal with very few gates open to leave? Kinda felt crowded as the mob was leaving through half a gate.
