Ravens game gonna be wet!

1-2" in Garrett County, its a wet packable snow. Stuck to everything and made the trees very scenic.

Ravens had the best bye weekend ever. PIT, CLE, KC, JAX all lose. Five tough games coming up. I'd be happy with 3-2.

Coming home from Garrett County last week I noticed a lot of hazy in the valleys, same thing last night coming home. With the winds from the south, really bringing the smoke up our way. 2023, the year that just keeps on giving.

Amyone know why it is so hazy in western md? Driving between Cumberland and Hagerstown the valleys were thick, kinda smelly too.

Off and on snow showers all day today out at Deep Creek. Picked up around 2" on elevated surfaces. Very mushy snow, typically we get the fluffy stuff out here.

I'm heading up tomorrow morning! I love snow but hoping we hold off on big stuff for a couple weeks, roof is almost on my addition . Once I'm dried in bring on the powder!

Like you said, all about the money. Some leagues almost half the teams make the playoffs, and the playoffs seem to last for months. Whats the point of the regular season? More games, more money, more gambling, YAY!

Havent seen them in Ellicott City yet but coached a softball game in western hoco and they were all over the place. No stinkbugs or lantern flies in Deep Creek either.

Not to mention Os playoff game and Billy Joel concert in Baltimore. If theres a weekend we don't need precipitation, this is it.

My yard was looking so good until the past week. Definitely crisping up. Used up all my rain barrel water and they need refills!

This is extremely un-scientific but I feel like modelling this summer has been pretty poor, at least in short term resolutions. I was out in Missouri for a week at the beginning of the month. 5 days out the forecast was for multiple days of 100+ and sunny. Ended up raining at some point every day and highs in the mid 80s. There have been weeks here of the same precip/temp issues. Maybe we are on a boundary and its really hard to nail down?
