  1. The same people will call an event a bust unless their house is slabbed
  2. This is living up to its potential, sadly.
  3. Please lord keep that one away from any populated areas
  4. TOG near plantersville in NE MS. Those storms have really exploded
  5. PDS for mendenhall storm. This is escalating quickly yall
  6. Not to be overly dramatic but that is without a doubt a violent long track tornado underway
  7. Mendenhall storm about to produce if it hasn’t already
  8. Not to get too far down the road, but this group of cells will be the ones that impact the Birmingham area later
  9. Velocity scans for the tornado producing storm are continuing to get stronger and stronger. The CC drop is massive. I pray there isn’t much in the way of this storm, this one’s the real deal
  10. Hopefully this misses Tylertown to the north
  11. Debris ball now visible on regular radar imagery for the main storm
  12. Environment isn’t as clean up there but one will likely become dominant
  13. Storm north of our tornado looks like it’s wrapping up too
  14. First PDS warning of the day. Major CC drop.
  15. The Osyka storm has a perfect looking environment ahead of it. This is not good
  16. Oh boy. That debris ball just exploded
  17. That is the definition of a classic looking Deep South supercell
  18. I think the storm near Greensburg needs a warning.
  19. Storms south of Jackson are starting to spin. Those need to be watched
  20. People calling bust when 13 deaths have already occurred from this outbreak is insane.
  21. I think it may underperform in MS a bit as the radar has gotten incredibly messy but Alabama has clean air and is maxing on daytime heating, it may just be a bit further east
  22. The storms yesterday and today have occurred in the two worst radar holes for severe weather in the US. NE LA/SE AR and SE MO
  23. Convection this morning has largely missed the high risk area. That was probably the biggest inhibitor today if it had materialized and stabilized the atmosphere somewhat. I expect an explosive afternoon and a lot of PDS warnings
  24. Multiple fatalities reported in Missouri from yesterdays tornadoes
