Severe Weather Threat Week...so many threats!!!

So what are the chances of any severe storms maintaining their strength until they reach my area? -
Power is out here. My weather station said our highest wind gust was 22mph but its a super cheap one so who knows how accurate it is.

So it just started raining so hard I actually thought it was hailing at first. Hell it still might be. It happened so fast to.

That must be the one that just passed over me. I dont think I’ve ever seen it rain so hard since moving into this house. And the amount of nearby CG strikes was impressive.

That was me yesterday. Wanted to get it done on the cooler of the two days but apparently that didn’t matter. Haha

Bob happened a year before I was born. The last significant tropical conditions I recall were from Irene in 2011 and even that storm made landfall 2 states over. Lost power for 3 days. This wont be nearly as strong as that, but it will still be entertaining.

For the first time i can remember the center of the cone goes directly over me. This is going to be interesting/fun.

I just realized I got 1.58 in of rain here on tuesday, all from that one storm. That never happens. lol

Its a cheap ($120 or so) weather station that sits in direct sunlight. Its on my roof though so the heat reflecting off of the shingles might be a factor.

According to my station we got .41 inches of rain here and only gusted up to 30mph. Sun is out now.

Is the SAL the thing putting a damper on this season’s forecasted activity, or is there something else in play? Just curious.

Why do I get the feeling that there is gonna be a Patricia in the atlantic this year, but one that will curve OTS before affecting any land?
