  1. Agreed. I get why folks would want to chase, but obs in New York or Vermont or Oregon or whatever aren't relevant to our obs at all, so banter is better!
  2. Not sure why anyone would post obs from a chase when people here barely see flakes. Reeks of one-uppance.
  3. Dude...we know it's Weather Bell. It says it on the GD images you post!
  4. I do believe that we can sometimes see the next winter showing its hand as we come to the end of one ENSO state. I'd like to think thats the case here, but maybe I'm just cherrypicking and wishcasting.
  5. In Burke, we had snow for a good amount of time between 11:30 or noon yesterday until maybe 4:00 or so, with a few bursts of maybe a little more than light snow. Problem was that it was 35-38 degrees and in the middle of the day in mid-March, so those flakes never stood a chance. Kids liked it though...and it was cool to throw down some spring crop seeds while the snow was falling!
  6. If it's the WB GFS, then I'm all in on it.
  7. Can't agree. In my opinion, people are basing their takes on emotions stemming from a recent run of years (mostly Ninas) that have sucked. Could it be that, going forward, anything but a Nino is going to suck? Maybe. But I don't think you can make that definitive call based on a relatively short timeframe of suckage.
  8. Seedlings are really coming along nicely. I up-potted the tomatoes, lettuce, and broccoli, but I had to replant mache and lettuce seeds because they really didn't take well on first planting (planted too deep?). Good thing is that they're doing much better this time around. My 5-year-old is all about the garden this year. Every day, she says that we have to go check on the plants, and is always making sure to point out the cells/plants that need a little watering. She loves saying "I have a REALLY green thumb," which is just so freaking awesome!
  9. We get it on front and back lawns, but especially out back.
  10. Nice. Thing is...the goal was scored before the 5 minutes of ET were up, so the ref should have given Ajaccio the chance to restart and pump the ball into the area!
  11. I remember having to cover my garden transplants for a few nights around then. We definitely got into the low- to mid-30s.
  12. That's a pretty random reference, but as a soccer fan I'm curious as to what happened!
  13. It’s kind of an unfair comparison. Two photos take advantage of the blue hour while one doesn’t. Tucson is still probably a hole, though.
  14. Sapwood is phenomenal. Started by a legend of the homebrewing world who has figured out how to scale up to commercial brewing.
  15. In the end, the Euro has us firing up the severe thread. F5s on The Mall?
  16. Drizzly in Burke. WHEEEEEEEEE!!!
  17. It's a beast on this run. I'm only looking at H5, which is why I mentioned the immovable object stuff earlier. The vort powers up and pumps the ridge out ahead, but that 50/50 is fighting like hell against it.
  18. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but at 150 am I seeing an immovable object clashing (block) with an unstoppable force (the western energy)?
