  1. You can see the divergence with the GFS at about 120. The GFS just holds that energy back and digs the hell out of it whereas the CFS/Euro eject it.
  2. Energy out west looking like it ejects at 126, whereas the GFS dives it down the coast. Maybe a bit stronger of a block than at the same time at 00Z, as well. Ninja'd by @brooklynwx99 regarding the block.
  3. Euro at H5 through 114 - looks like the vort out west might be digging a little more and the ridge is pumping a bit more out ahead.
  4. The latter two are focusing on the 25" of snow they're getting ITBYs on the ensemble means.
  5. Though I could get on board with that. <shrug>
  6. I love how we think "What an amazing signal at XX days" when the ensemble snow map shows like 3.4" while it shows 28" in SNE. I mean...what kind of signal would *that* be?
  7. If there's anything that I noticed, it was that. I don't know a ton, but just a quick glance tells me that, as depicted, we would run the risk of being just on the wrong side of things.
  8. Got it. That second screengrab makes more sense. Thanks!
  9. I think I speak for many when I say I don't quite know why we're calling on the Good Shepherd with this look.
  10. Can I request that Weather Will stop referring to models as "WB Euro" or "WB GFS" or whatever, especially when posting images of H5? They're just the Euro or GFS or CMC or any other model depiction. Except maybe for the algorithms used for snowfall, It's not as if one site shows something different than another. Pedantic, I know.
  11. But who cares a out the weather in Florida or what the barometer reading was. IMBY results is what it’s all about.
  12. Not sure about going brown and falling over, but they're the type that forms scapes (which you cut before they bloom) and that have the hard stem between the cloves. You do need to harvest them as the leaves start to brown, which usually happens in early to mid summer, so maybe that's what you're referring to. Wait too long to harvest and the cloves start to separate and the head definitely won't store as well. From what I've read, they don't store quite as long as most softnecks, but I've stored them for 8+ months on a number of occasions, as long as I've harvested them in good time and cured them properly.
  13. I'm taking a late-season improvement in our looks (!) as a precursor for the banner winter next year.
  14. No idea! They were here when we moved in 13 years ago.
  15. Honestly...that would suck. It would get really boring after a few weeks.
  16. Ours often bloom around Christmas and into January and February, as their name would suggest.
  17. And the Euro went from cutter to a slider in its two most recent runs.
  18. There was never really any doubt. The rubber band always snaps back, so it was bound to happen at this point in the season.
  19. Someone posted a tweet in banter that claimed it was related to an incident from three weeks ago, but the post was rightly hidden...but not before some of us saw it and commented on it.
