  1. We've already beat last year haven't we? didn't we get less than 1.5" last year? Nevermind - that was Winter 19/20
  2. NAM does seem to trend warmer so that's a plus??
  3. NAM just showed this more so than others have with a lot of VA getting into Sleet/Freezing Rain.
  4. Nam 18z, Euro 12z and GFS 12z all virtually the same through 36
  5. deleted - flipped on me to previous run
  6. Definitely south at 63, Low is down on the panhandle. a hair slower as well
  7. GFS looks very similar to NAM at 27 & 42 minus the H in the PNW
  8. sorry for being ignorant to this but if the system happens to be slower as the NAM is depicting - would this reduce the level of N/NW movement and allow it to run on a more ENE trajectory?
  9. Down to 41- was at 51 2 hours ago. Didn’t think we were supposed to hit this until 10-11 or so
  10. The latest HRRR shows current Low a bit further SE than the last 10 runs - should be good right?
  11. His last call seemed pretty reasonable- a little under in the 6-8 isolated but not sure how just north and west of dc fared?
  12. Looks like after this little band we’re about done.
  13. Just passed 5” in grassy areas now. .5” pickup in 25 min
  14. Up to 4.5” now. This band is putting it down good
  15. First measurement (grass) 3.25” about 30 min ago. Other hard surfaces about 2”
  16. Power back on for now. Still nice gusts with light/moderate
  17. Has been moderate all snow for the past hour or so just north in Ashland
  18. How do y’all upload pics? I keep getting file too large error
  19. Woke up to no power and covered everything in sleet/snow. Wasn’t expecting it like this until a few more hours
  20. Assuming he’s talking ratios in terms of more compaction and on the heavy/wet side which would likely drop it to more of a 6:1-8:1
  21. HRRR trending wetter and longer duration. .2-.25” for the AM ending around noon
  22. Looks like the NAM lost that 2nd batch - HRRR does show lighter (.08")
