  1. Actually.. From what i saw .. There was a clear west movement between the 12z run today and 0z tonight. Also the precip shield Also moved west as well. It's not major, but enough that it is going in the right direction.
  2. At this juncture, could we see the other major models come in that different than the NAM? I mean... It's only 48 hours out. Just trying to be real ( and its tiring when we are grasping at straws as we get within 48 hours ).
  3. Wait, I'm confused.... Its either to far East for you, or it will be to warm and west? Am I reading that right?
  4. You guys are freaking out. Look what happened with today's storm. It really didn't become a " thing " until a few days ago. Relax... Things are bound to change ( good or bad ).
  5. Where are you? Tolland? I'm in Plainville. If I see a dusting.. I'd be surprised
  6. I wonder what the chances are of this trending more NW until tomorrow.... Ever so slight chance of a small accumulation into CT? It's a stretch, but nothing would surprise me these days
  7. Funny.. I tested positive this past Tuesday morning. Same exact symptoms... The fatigue was the worst and in the last few days I've had nausea. Just starting to feel somewhat better now. Glad your doing better too
  8. Happy New Year's to all. I'm out of covid quarantine today!!! Good start to the new year already ( but this weenie wants a big fat snowstorm ).
  9. Um... It's like rinse and repeat. 7 days out and some people are riding the latest model run like it's going to happen just like that. lololololol. Some people will NEVER learn. Lol
  10. It's way too early to go by the NAM model. I wouldn't even look at that right now till we get closer to the Saturday time frame
  11. Fair enough. The same goes for me. I did get heated, I am a little pissed off that I'm quarantined and we brought our eight-year-old home yesterday to live with us permanently. Things can be a lot worse I know. I apologize to you as well
  12. And this is a perfect example of what I was saying. My post was to make a point on the way we should go about these things and not to pounce on others. You torch tiger are definitely one of the antagonizers. You don't come on here with any positive feedback. You come on here to dig into people, and twist at night. You are definitely one of those bullies and you really shouldn't be on here. So take that and stick it where the sun don't shine
  13. Well, I guess it's time to write off this winter. It's over. Things are not going to change. Whenever I try to stay positive I just get stomped on. I do not wear Rose Colored Glasses amd I'm not an idiot. Weather's been a hobby of mine for my entire life. I don't claim to know everything, but it seems like a lot of you and here are meteorologists and professionals ( or at least act that way ), and there are select few that at super cocky and think they know it all. So with that said, we'll look forward to next winter. Staying on here doesn't seem to be doing any wonders since Winter is over. Does that about sum it up?
  14. As long as we have something to get us through the next rough patch, it will at least keep some people barely afloat LOL
  15. So you really think we are done after a few good weeks?
  16. For some reason.. You can't post pictures ( won't allow anything over 1.95 MB ) which is pretty much everything? Lol
  17. I heard ....shows 2'-4' for the northeast. Do you have a map to post. It's kind of exciting because it's within 7 days out.
  18. 27 also -zr. Things are a glazing up. Just hopeful it melts before 1... Have to drive to Simsbury ( all back roads ). Christmas dinner. Ps.. Merry Christmas
  19. I have to give it to you Kev ( and apologize ). This little train that could delivered some extra goods. Happy here to, although not 2".. Maybe just over an inch.
  20. Was up at 1:00 and was snowing.. Was just starting to dust the ground. Up again.... Everything is covered. Id say about 1/2". Looking at the radar.. We have a lull overhead, but that next batch is fast on it's heels. Could end up with 1" to 1.5" when all is said and done.
  21. Although climate change is having an impact on weather patterns, I think we're putting way too much emphasis on what's happening right now in relation to climate change. There are also things that will happen regardless of climate change. Things have happened a hundred years ago where we've gotten a warmer pattern and I'm sure not much of any snow. Case in point, look at the West right now. Very cold and a lot of snow, and they've been in that pattern for a while.. So we can and will get episodes or stretches like that too. It may still happen this year ( and may not ). The point is, we will get a snowy and cold winter again. They're not dead and gone.
