  1. Well for now, we can live vicariously through the Western part of the US. You're getting some historic snowfall and super Stormy Weather. It has to flip to the east at some point.
  2. I have a lot of hope that things will change. I know I posted a response to Kev with my disappointment in his attitude, but, I do understand there's a lot of frustration. I also realize that I don't need to feed into the negativity respond in such a way either so I deleted my post in response to Kevin. One thing I do know is that there will be something that will come up that will bring everyone together Smiles on everyone's faces and give us something to look forward. That is never failed us and will happen again.
  3. The positive about this is they really need this to build there water supply ( and that snow pack will surely do that ). It is something that will ease historic drought conditions for a lot of Western folks.
  4. I agree. Just dont like getting called out from kev. Trust me... I want the big guy snowstorm like the rest of us. It will happen though.
  5. Just as I said. Where's the 3" amounts you were saying? Dont call me out asking for models or maps when you are over emphasizing what we will see. This map shows ... AT BEST 1-2" and only in some areas even if we see it. Just saying man
  6. Boy .. Deja Vu. Didn't this happen last year? Models showed a change early on, but it kept getting pushed out. Finally, we saw that change in February. So.. If we can get our average snowfall of between 40-50 inches in CT.. That could give us some nice snowstorms close to eachother.
  7. Whit calls for coating to an inch. Wtnh calls for coating to 2" at best. Wfsb calls for coating to an 1" ( chance of a locally higher amount ). I'd say 2" might be a very random and few amd far between amount. Saw nothing about 3". But.. Not opposed to a surprise. "
  8. There's going to be a lot of desperate comments on here, at least until we have something that looks promising for at least a decent snowfall. At this point, looks like we wait until after the New Year. Enjoy the holidays y'all. It will Snow, that's for sure.
  9. I'm fine with whatever happens. When and if we get that surprise snowstorm, or that pattern shift it'll be exciting. Life is good regardless. There will be an awesome winter ahead, and God willing I'll be here to see it.
  10. Guys... I'm really hoping for that pattern change. I do believe it will happen. Just not as fast as we all thought, but when it does make that transition, boy look out. On a different note... I felt the need to share, we just found out today that we were chosen to give a beautiful little 8 year old girl a forever home with us. We've grown very fond of her over the last 6 months and now she will call our home her home for good! Now That's what life is about ( oh.. And she loves the snow as much as I do, score!! )
  11. I cant wait until the pattern changes. All this frustration will be a thing of the past and we will all win.
  12. And let's talk about the possibility of a storm for the day after Xmas. It was mentioned by 2 of our local MET's here in CT and that they are keeping a close eye on it. Interesting for sure.
  13. Have faith buddy. I watch Gil Simmons ( WTNH )live feed every morning on Facebook live. He is on board for a much colder ( and hopefully Snowier ) January.
  14. C'mon seriously people. Humor is all we have right now. I'm wanting snow as much as anyone else in here, trust me. I am one of the biggest Weenies here. Proud of it!
  15. Huh?? Trying to be funny, but I can't figure you guys out, or your humor.
  16. Ha! That's ok.. I couldn't find a weenie that worked for you. Way to small to see. ;-)
  17. Holy smokes... Did you see that big Blizzard for after Christmas on all the models?? NEITHER DID I LOLOLOLOL ( Sorry, couldnt help myself and its a slow week at the office hahaha )
  18. I'm curious what the euro is showing. That was the warmest and most North. Has that settled south of it with the latest run
  19. Although... Was it the Euro that was the warmest for the event this past weekend? Wasn't it correct?
  20. Love your enthusiasm, but George... It is not happening. We don't have enough cold air for that either. I'm telling you... We have to wait until January ( which I felt all along was the case ) for things to go our way. Patience my friend. It will come
  21. Well.. Taking away 2 days.. It is 2 weeks until the New Year ;-)
  22. In all honesty, how is it even possible to make a forecast a week or more out. There is not one model that has been consistent. And I dont mean a little off, I'm talking one extreme to another within 24 hours. Point is, no one can really make a confident forecast on what the weather will do if it's several days out. Its so crazy. I don't remember it being this volatile ever!?
  23. A lot of you are focusing ( and melting down because of it ) on what is going to happen on Christmas. Winter is not over because we didn't have a real good amount of snow specially Southern New England and the tri-state by Christmas. Everybody wants a white Christmas, and trust me, it's such a nice thing to have the holiday, but it does not mean that we're not going to have a decent winter when we have January February and March coming up to have a decent amount of cold and snow. I myself don't want snow on Christmas Eve or Christmas day as I have to travel to families and that's more important to me than being stuck at home because of a snowstorm on the holiday. Some of you may disagree which is fine, but the older I get the more my family and time spent with them is important ( as well as the holiday itself which is all about sharing and giving ). I have no problem with getting all the snow and cold in the next 3 months.
