  1. When you say soon, you meaning by the end of January? I mean, things really shouldn't get going climatologically as far as snow in our region, especially Southern New England and the Tri-State area ( although south of us have done very well and are above average I would say for the month of December and are above average I would say for the month of December). Even though we're not getting a parade of snow events here, I wouldn't call it horrible.
  2. Man, I get the pessimism from most. I to am disappointed in how things could pan out. For now, I'm looking forward to having some real time Winter as we are taking a trip to Quebec ( right between Quebec City and Montreal ) in Shawinigan QC arriving there the day after Christmas and staying until early the next week. It's looking Snowy there, so I'm sure I will get my fix while we are there. Hopefully when I get back, things will look better going forward.
  3. Even funnier if they shut down this weather app until summer. Chaos!! CHAOS!!!!
  4. I think people drive themselves crazy so early that they burn themselves out. So basically what you're saying is just get rid of January and February because they're not going to count now. My suggestion is anybody who feels like it's over should just stop posting. Makes no sense to keep posting crap if you're done with the season already lol. Why is it the same thing every year. I just don't get why people agonize over stupid shyte
  5. Lol .. no it's just starting. Everybody so laser focused on Christmas and what the weather's bringing. Thinking winter's over. Lord!!! I really feel there'll be a lot more happy people by the time we get to March.
  6. Yeah, Kris Kringle or Jesus weren't even birthed yet.. lol
  7. So, you may be correct thus far. But just because it's not been snowmageddon for the first half of December does not make the pattern trash. Winter officially starts next week. Your take on things are always shyte. Let's talk about it in March when winter is coming to a close and see where we're at then.
  8. It's frustrating to say the least, but call me an optomist..... Pattern doesn't suck, it just doesn't seem to stay consistent enough to make you feel confident in how things will play out, especially looking out past 1 week. Chin up!
  9. C'mon man.... Get it together. You know first hand how the outcome of these future model runs can change. Ok, we don't have a White Christmas. So what. Point is, model runs will change. And even if this stays the course verbatim, the weather pattern this winter season is different. It will change. We have all of January, February and March ( although a few will dispute March ). Don't give up on it is all I'm saying.
  10. Lol... Don't bother waisting your breath on trash tiger.
  11. Lol.... TT ( Torch Tiger ) loves to provoke just about anyone. Not sure why he is so bitter. There is so much going on to start this Winter season. So much that could bring us great season. So any of us know how it will end or which way it will go? Not necessarily, but there are many signs that point to a much better winter than the last several. Point is, not sure why he's so against what the winter could be. Knocking down everything that would relate to a snow or your winter for us here in the Northeast. Time will tell. Hopefully TT Will find some kind of holiday cheer.
  12. So.. you are sticking with that forecast? Even through Christmas? I mean, you are good ....
  13. Hey... Today was a nice little event. If we're going to get a warm up next week, we're going to get a warm-up.m, but Christmas has a shot of being something wintry. We'll see
  14. I don't trust the GFS. I'm not sure how well it's been doing lately. And long range, wasn't it showing a torch for Christmas. And now it seems to be catching up to the Euro ( or did I get that wrong? )
  15. It's all over the news. Active shooter. Multiple people shot at Brown University. Have all the students in a lockdown stay in place deal. They just understand all this craziness.. I'm praying for all of them
  16. You know this time I think you might be right. Things keep moving a further north. I think the southern half of the northern counties might get into the advisory level. But I just don't think the northern half of all the northern counties will make it. I guess we'll find out after 4:00 or late tonight
  17. So, it seems to have pulled up to the euro ( or closer to it )
  18. My family and I are heading up to Canada the day after Christmas. We're going to be up there for 4 days. Hopefully the ride won't be terrible, but I'm sure they're chock full of snow up in Quebec City
  19. There's been some mention at the AI models have been performing pretty darn well. Curious what they're showing for the end of the month
  20. No man, all would not like an ice storm Christmas. I'll drive in the snow and be fine with that. But driving in ice is a absolute no! And I would venture to guess that a lot of us travel either Christmas Eve or Christmas day. But I'll be sure to put a good word into mother nature to make sure you have a good ice storm right in your hood.
