First of all man, I'm not neurotic myself. Secondly, what's up with your holier than thou attitude. . I just made an observation of what I saw. Listen man, come down off your " hot " seat. Lol. Plus, kind of rude the comments you're saying about these guys that I was referring to. They're not a run of a mill weather enthusiasts. Not sure why you think your word is "God " so to speak.

Not on this one. For two of the three major channels here in Connecticut in the Hartford area, again two of them have it on the colder and winter side. The one has it at 60° which is so different than the other two. Two. Anyway, it's not normal. Yes, I've seen differences from one to the next but not this extreme. We shall see what happens

So I just saw the oddest thing. I just so happened to flip through the three different stations here in Connecticut for the weather. Both WTNH and WVIT are calling for temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s from next Wednesday on. They both show chances of mix or snow and/or rain... something wintry. Wfsb however Shows temperatures next Thursday at 60? Something seems off. It just seems way odd like they're almost taking this week and putting it into next week. I almost feel like they made a mistake lol

So here's my biggest complaint if you'd like to call it that. There's a few METs I will always respect ( and trust ). What I don't understand is how wrong they have been with using the global models when predicting what's going to take place within a week's time. Again, it's not them per say, it's just that they use these global models which give us a prediction of a change and as we get closer, it goes back to what it had been, is warm ( this has happened a lot this year ) then colder and snow are your solutions. Just wipe themselves clean as we get closer. All I'm saying is the global models that they use to help predict the weather have just been so off that it takes their credibility somewhat away from forecasting. I just don't remember seeing this in years past being this bad ( for almost the entire season ). Crazy

I'm sorry.. aren't the models both showing a snow event for mid to late next week?

Okay, have you talked yourself into it enough that winter is over? I feel like you just keep trying to talk yourself into it, but you're still not 100% there lol.

I definitely had my moment! But now... I have succumbed to the fact that this Winter might be one of the worst Winters yet. The good news is, we can't get any worse next year ( I hope ). Today's weather is amazing... No way to not enjoy it.

I was looking at Somers Connecticut at the time... Had about 15 in of snow. It was a good storm, remember the ride home was crazy.

Just wondering, why do you come on the winter forum if you're not a winter fan? Lol Most of the time your posts like to press the fact that we're having a warm winter and somewhat rubbing it in all the faces of people on here who truly love the winter. Trust me... I am all for opinions from all sides, but it doesn't seem to be your end game whenever you post. My guess is if it's very wintry with cold and snow you wouldn't even be on here posting, but I could be wrong ( and just to be clear, I'm not calling you out at all. I'm just curious. That's all ) With that said, this weather is phenomenal. If it's going to be nice then I'll take this. It's just odd on February 10th to have this. But it is what it is

Other than normal window clean up in the yard like picking up dead sticks and branches from the trees around the yard, not much more. But you enjoy your sprinkling up.

Some hope towards the end of the month and most of March. I've heard some rumblings ( well.. some more than that ). I listen to one of my local meteorologists Facebook live every morning here in CT. He also mentioned that the latest data was showing some strong signals of a pattern change that could offer up a much Wintrier pattern later this month and into all of March. It's not over yet ( all we have is hope ) PS ... It was also mentioned on his Facebook live to watch this weekend's storm for us as it's only Wednesday and he could see this coming up more this way.

Well. It's sleeting again here. From what the weather said this eve... Only areas at the mass border would see a wintry mix? Well.. It was sleeting about an hour ago, then it slowed down and now it's sleeting real hard again. And we're not right at the mass border. Lol

So the question is which way will it go. Is there one that would be more reliable than the other? Does one have more support than the other?

Who am I kidding, I'm not going anywhere..... Whether we get something or not. 25 years ago I would have been able to do these adventures with no problem as I wasn't tied down. It'll come to us at some point ( My life is actually very good, so I don't mind being tied down now )

If this thing stays south and Virginia & North Carolina get a dumping of snow, we need to shut this forum down... Lol

So with the GFS going way south, and the euro being where it was today, might we see it trend more towards a snowy or solution? Haven't had that happen at all this season as it's always trended the other way ( warmer and rainier ). It'd be cool to see how it plays out, but as usual like everything else, it has a lot going against it.

Well with the way this season has gone, it would be nice to go out with the bang. Least will leave on a good note. If not, we have next year.

Just put my daughter to bed and came downstairs to look outside and it's snowing. Left to dusting and still snowing a little. It's weird because it doesn't even show up on radar. Nice little surprise
