  1. I joke about the March Mid Month revenge ( but you never know ). I took am ready to turn things around and bring in the Springtime warmth. I'm ready!
  2. Watch out for Mother Natures revenge in mid March. She can be a real Bitch!
  3. I was reading the post and thought I was in the wrong forum. This is now a health and fitness forum. I have my bike set up in my family room... Between the television and the view and the backyard, that's all the motivation I need. Oh by the way, might the pattern switch in mid-March? Lol
  4. I agree. And although we're in a certain pattern, then it's been a somewhat shitty one for the last few winters, all we really need is a week of a pattern break to bring in the big dog. It's happened in the past and it will happen again in the future. There's so much talk of doom and gloom. Will get some good storms again, we'll get a good pattern again in another winter. It's just not now so everyone thinks that everything is horrible from this point forward. Anyway, if we got a big dog between now and then to March, then that's great. Not banking on it but there's always a chance.
  5. Lord... So dramatic... And soon pines will be replaced with Palm Trees
  6. Just like he's forever stuck in the '80s with all his videos he shares..lol
  7. Let's hope for this pattern to switch for the next winter season. Eventually has to go back to that same pattern we used to have. Let's hope it's sooner than later
  8. Yeah picked up about 17 for the week here. Not too shabby!
  9. So I'm pleasantly surprised up where I am. Didn't expect more than a coding. I'm almost at 2" now. The last 3 hours the snow had come down much more. Moderately and because it's so fluffy it's accumulating more
  10. Went out this morning to bring the dog outside. Snow started to come down moderately by the time I came in. We had about .5"-.75" on the ground then. Looking at about 1"-1.25" now with that moderate band that went through. Looks like this will be settling down in the next couple of hours. But then we have some. Have your snow showers and squalls early this afternoon. We'll see what that brings. It's been a wintery week for sure
  11. Maybe we'll get an inch out here in Plainville. I'd be surprised if we got more, but I'll take it
  12. True.... And it's coming, but it's not over yet. Still can't predict what we could see in March. We've seen the 80's in March and we've seen huge Snowstorms as well.
  13. Man... Where are you seeing 2-4 anywhere in that map for the pike south.... It shows we'd be lucky for 1-2! Lol Love your enthusiasm though..you must be all pumped up from that run!
  14. Right... The "LR " lol We may get some warmth then... But, all this talk of it being the end of Winter by the end of this month is speculation. So much can and will happen as we head into March. And of course it's the transition month from Winter to Spring, but as we've seen in many Winters past, we can get some whoppers in March ( and we already know about the Sun angle deal ).
  15. Listen, just like when it showed very cold cold air and then it modifies some or changes some as we got closer, the same thing can happen with this. It's probably going to modify some or change. Either way, anyone clinging to the LR to bring super cold air in or a furnace in is playing with fire ( no pun intended ). It's more wait and see as we get closer and what's going to happen. But once we get into March things are supposed to change as we transition into spring.
  16. Well I think one of the reasons is on WVIT, Ryan has us clear and sunny for the weekend. Weekend. No mention at all of a flake. Friday morning. However, Gil Simmons on WTNH talks about the chance of a snow event on Saturday. Very strange how one says it's a good possibility and the other says we're going to be sunny. It is very confusing
  17. I just checked it out and it shows Bradley airport received 7 in. Wasn't sure when you saw that post for 1 in. Unless I'm reading what they have is their total snowfall for today?
  18. It's kind of hard at this point as far as the final total as the Snow has compacted, but I'm definitely between 13 and 14 in. Looks amazing!
  19. Yeah.... 14" here now. Although we expected this 36 hours ago, wasn't expecting this at all as of yesterday afternoon. It does suck for you guys up in Massachusetts, but you did get that storm back in January where you guys saw 14 to 16 inches up there and We got about half that down here. Maybe we can still pull off region wide snow storm for everyone from Washington DC up to Maine before the season's over.
  20. I'm officially at 10.5" here in Plainville. I think we will hit 12" for sure ( I have pictures but for some reason I can never download them here, it always says two big of a file )
  21. Snow is coming down heavier again. Almost like a darkened up the sky now. If this band should give us another 2"-4" I think.
  22. I can't even respond to that. But I will let you know when I pull myself off the ground once I stop laughing so hard.
