Funny thing with this system .... Things can easily keep trending north, but.. they can also trend south again... We are experiencing the " Windshield wiper " effect. We have all of tomorrow to see which way this goes. I'm not sure any of us can say for sure who is getting what..... Especially on the northern and southern sides of this impending storm. Kind of a fun system to track to see which way it leans by Friday. We shall see

Correct me from wrong, but I feel that in the past winter seasons you had tended to favor the Euro. Any thoughts on this year? ( Not being as accurate this season has passed ). GFS has been more consistent showing the storm as a colder solution and the Euro has it much farther north. Are you going with a blend or would you side with one of the two global models ( Not to put you on the spot lol ). But you are our guy!! ;-)

That sounds fair. Wouldn't we be on the cusp of a winter storm warning with four to eight inches? I would think winter weather advisory would dictate three to five, even three to six.

Get that, so what would you say. 4" to 6" or would you say 4" to 8"? Also, do you think there's a chance that they would upgrade to a winter storm warning in Hartford tolland and Windham counties ?

Forget about thermals, even the track at this point is useless. The models are all over the place with where it's going to go

The odds are typically against the NAM ( One compared to the GFS or Euro ).. but the way this winter season has gone, who knows.

We shouldn't get too concerned or tied up with what's happening with the models today or last night. I think what we're seeing is there's going to be some fluctuations. Today is Thursday. Is this coming next Monday night into Tuesday. A very good signal is there that it will be snow. But it is going to fluctuate on what totals it will show. We have some time. I think we'll know more by Sunday on what exactly we're going to see as far as totals go and what area see the most. But this is the best signal we've seen all winter for southern New England at least.

For when?

But the season's over. Same old same old. Pattern's not going to change. That's what you've been doing over and over again the last couple of weeks. I'm not here to call you out, just reminding you what you've been saying. Trust me.... I would still like one big event before this winter's over, But if we don't get it, it'll be fine. There's always next year

I'm so confused about this weather pattern. There's been so much talk of change which hasn't come about. The forecast for next week. Keep flip-flopping back and forth. It's just hard to know what's actually going to happen in latter part of next week.
