  1. Well.. the word " PATTERN CHANGE " came out of my meteorologist mouth this morning on the news starting the end of next week. I totally respect the crew it WVIT, so for them to use that word, they must see something pretty solid. Fingers crossed
  2. With what we've been given so far this season... This looks exciting!
  3. If there's any good news at all, is that the atmospheric river so to speak should stop after the storm coming ashore in the next day for the west coast. So, what we do see coming in next week will be coming out of Canada as opposed to the Pacific. At least that's a bit of a better setup than it had been.
  4. Flurries just started here. Hmm. Didn't expect to even see that here.
  5. I have a suggestion, just stop posting and stop coming on the forum. Stop your own torture. There's plenty of beer to get you through this disgrace of a Wimter. We'll see you next fall. Have a great summer man!
  6. I'll be sure to pay attention to your lips next time ... Mr. Miyagi The way you go back and forth with your emotions, I love the way you preach ... lol
  7. That's not true. Look back in November. the pattern definitely had a good look to it , especially going into December. So I'm not sure what you're talking about, but back then it had a better look. Go drink yourself some more beer
  8. I was so looking forward to this Winter. Then in on late November everything looked like it be was going be a BIG December and an awesome pattern for Snow lovers. Well.. that never happened. Alright we are mid way through January, and it doesn't look good for the rest of this month ( and I'm not even going think about February at this point ). But... BUT... Just as the pattern has been in the s******, we all know that there's surprises that we do get. Even in these crappy patterns. I'm just waiting for that to happen.. even if it's just once.
  9. Well... Although there's not much in the future model runs to give us high hopes, I'm still hopeful we will pull out a nice sneaky snow event for the Northeast in February. That's all we can do at this point ( although Northern New England should do better ). We will have our winter down this way again.... Just have to wait.
  10. It's now snowing here in Plainville. It's amazing the snow growth that's happening on the radar over the last half hour. I'm wondering if it'll actually accumulate a bit. It's cold enough. 30° here
  11. I won't say this, the above normal temps have been getting squashed more east. So the good news is we're seeing that move further east. I do see the blues. Kind of moving further east. I think we have a chance to get into a bit of a colder pattern. If not normal. We can get at least normal temps in the east, then we have a good chance at seeing some snow, but even above normal still gives us snow.
  12. Honestly, I think we all would love to have a classic the winter with several weeks if not month to two of snow and cold. It just hasn't really worked out that way for a long time. If we can get a classic blizzard or even a large snowstorm out of this pattern, that would be okay. If we don't see anything at all, well then we'll have to wait till next year. When I'm not on the forum, I'm living my life like the rest of us. But when I'm on this forum.. I'm sucked in like the rest of you.
  13. You're lucky if you see 1" even with the Euro snowmap. I'm surprised you're still on, you said winter's over till next year lol. And all seriousness, it just takes one. You know that. And you also know that if we get that one big snow storm or blizzard in February, this would all be a distant memory. You know you can't give up ( just like the rest of us ).If you did then you wouldn't even be on here. Stop being a weenie. Lol
  14. I don't see this doing anything accumulation wise until you are in at least Rhode Island. The river East... I don't think so.
  15. I would rather see a cutter now on the euro. That huge storm that we had at Christmas. It first showed it as a coastal and then backed it up to a cutter. Let's hope this goes the other way
  16. Lolol... You took what I said out of context... Trust me man, I'm not crying over here or pouting. I have plenty of other things in my life that keep me busy and happy. Just joining in the conversation and expressing my thoughts. But thanks for pointing it out for everyone to see. I know everybody likes to one up everyone and get a chuckle at on their expense. That's why I love this form so much.
  17. Has the GEFS been pretty much correct on all the future guidance? Or has the EPS had some correct forecasts? I'm so worried that it's going to follow in the GEFS steps again
  18. Not that it's going to happen in this storm, but I do recall several times when a storm backed in from the Atlantic and actually backed all the way into Connecticut with snow and gave us a decent amount. There was one that was a few years back that kept backing in over the last 4-6 runs for the storm actually hit. So is it possible of course. But I know this one will most definitely seems like it will stay out there towards the cape
  19. Honestly, that was an actual fair forecast. What you're saying totally makes sense, and all joking aside, not trolling. Nice to see you actually explain why you feel the way you do and you're not just trying to set people off. Appreciate it
  20. Damn him!! Yeah.. I know. We need a win. Lol
  21. Don't let him suck you in. He thrives on it. He thrives on working people up. He used to work me up too, but not anymore. I told him I'm glad he's part of this crew. Cuz it will turn around come and if not this your next year. And I wonder if you'll still be on here. Trolling. Every forum needs a troll, so we can let him be our resident troll.
  22. I know what'll get you to feel better. You need a little Lady Gaga in your life.
  23. I'm actually glad you're here. It gives us all a nice chuckle. You're probably a hoot in person too, I mean it.
  24. I would love for it to come into Connecticut, but I don't think anyone in Connecticut is going to see anything from this. Maybe just maybe the far eastern areas might see a little dusting
