  1. April Fools! ( Unless if can happen with 70 degrees ) Lol
  2. It would have been nice, but how much can we actually expect this time of the year? Especially. On top of that, this whole year sucked moose dong anyway. I wasn't expecting anything out of this.
  3. My bad, you are correct. But either way, it trended in a direction we didn't think would touch us and it did come back so the same thing can happen here. It's just too early to say what the exact track will be today.
  4. You guys really think we're done lol. I already know for Southern New England that getting a snow storm this time of the year is super difficult to impossible. But, to say that the storm track is now set in stone is laughable. How many times has this happened over the winter. It's not like the storm is 2 days away. It's not until Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe it will be nothing but to say it's trended in the wrong direction and this is the final outcome is kind of funny.
  5. If I remember correctly the storm back in February started to shift north and we thought we were out of the game in Southern New England and then a couple days before it came back down and we got 15 in of snow where I'm at. I'm not saying that's going to happen at all but you never know
  6. Hmmm.....intriguing. and only because the Canadian and Icon both have very similar runs tonight! The GFS has also shown a pretty potent storm for this date in now for several runs
  7. You got these all over New York Metro area. You even have some now getting into Connecticut. They're called a black Russian squirrel and they bred with the gray squirrels so you see different ones around now, more and more
  8. Wow!!! And what's really amazing are those 5"-6" amounts .......... Crazy
  9. Well as he just said, I get my information from the news which is incorrect. Wondering where he gets his information when it's 2 to 6 inches of rain that we had already received? I have to laugh. That's all
  10. That's the pot calling the kettle black lolololol. The one time that I was incorrect about some snow event a few months back, I maned up and said you were actually right. Otherwise, you hype everything so far up your arse you can probably stick your fingers out of your nose. Go have another beer.
  11. Man, all you got to do is follow the radar. That big dry hole you see back just west of Stamford that's moving our way. Not the stuff up near Poughkeepsie/Albany
  12. Hate to burst your bubble man, but there's not hours and hours left. The rain shutting off already in southeast New York. This will be shutting down the next hour or two. Your nickname should be hype master
  13. He always hypes up the numbers. Just like his damaging 100 mph winds lol
  14. Okay, I want to see this map expanded out through all of Connecticut and Massachusetts and New York
  15. Remember everyone, this afternoon's run is not going to dictate what exactly happens this weekend ...just like this mornings didn't or tonight's will either.... They're all going to get us closer to something in the middle. I wouldn't pin it all down until Thursday at this point. But I do laugh at the ride and dies in here..lol
  16. This was mentioned this morning from Bob Maxon on WVIT. He had made mention that the rain could linger from Sunday into Monday...... even Gil Simmons on WTNH mentioned Sunday night to Monday with a possibility of some sleet or freezing rain.... So it was mentioned this morning
  17. I think the changes in the weather patterns go far beyond just something in the PAC... Or El Niño or La Nina. Our atmosphere and overall global patterns are a mess. I don't think there's any one thing ( even the best of meteorologists or scientists looking at patterns aren't getting it right ). It's the definition of chaos in our world weather pattern. I think you did an awesome job, it's just the way of the world at this point. And next year probably will be the same. No way to know if it's going to be a shitty winter or not next year. I definitely wouldn't give it any direction at this point. Your weather outlook and highlights are appreciated by many on this site!
  18. IDK man.... As we found out last winter and this winter, just a few small things made a huge difference in what happened in our weather. If those few small things went in a different direction we would have been talking about a whole different season this year with a lot more snow. So it's so hard to say next year is going to be a ratter or not. I've learned to not go with any prediction even when we get to November as things do change. Here's to hoping for a better winter. 2024-2025
