  1. Ended up with about 11” here in NW Augusta County! Less on the roads. One last pic before tonight’s ice.
  2. I have almost 9” and it is ripping snow outside! @wxdude64got 13.7” last he posted.
  3. About 6” here in Augusta County with moderate snow and 29°. I went on a 4 wheeler Jebride
  4. Up to 4” now and steadily snowing quarter-sized flakes. Beautiful! Warming up by the wood stove then back outside for an atv ride by the river.
  5. It is strange for sure! I am going to go outside and enjoy the storm! Good luck to all! ps- How much have you gotten, @Bob Chill?
  6. This isn’t wishing for a bust? Lol Whatever you need to tell yourself!
  7. Watching it snow like crazy outside at 29° while people bicker based on location and wish busts upon each other is wild! About 3” so far.
  8. Yeah, it looks like the inside of a snow globe right now! Passed 2 inches and 29°.
  9. Would love to see some lawn and rotunda pics! They are the best. I graduated there in ‘97 and earned another degree there in ‘15.
  10. Been snowing since 8:30 or so. Coming up on a couple inches so far. 29° here northwest of Staunton in Augusta County.
  11. Weenie me, I don’t care and will consider it a badge of honor. I love you, 12K NAM. ❤️
  12. Especially if you are 0.1° colder than your forecast low. lol
  13. They clearly do odd periods on the first early dismissal day and will do evens on the next, since they dont want to have 15 minute classes. Lunch has to go last because of the early dismissal time. Makes sense to me. How would you make it better?
  14. The reason is you don’t get federal funding for a day of education unless you serve lunch. And typically 40% of a public school’s budget is federal. Then multiply times 1/180th of the budget = a large number of dollars.
  15. To be fair, RIC is located on the 6” line on that map.
  16. Good luck down there, man! The latest guidance has mby here in Augusta County a little north of the axis of heaviest precipitation, but anywhere from 4” to 11”. NWS has me in the 6-8” on the map, but their point and click says 5-11”. I will be happy with whatever falls and sledding with the family provided we get enough!
  17. Rich men north of Richmond. Am I in the right thread, btw? Lol
  18. Just got up to 32° here and very light rain appears to be ending. Last pic before it starts melting away! nw Augusta County
  19. Woke up to almost an inch of accumulated snow and sleet! 31° and raining right now northwest of Staunton in Augusta County.
