    Love that look on the GFS -- conveyor belt of light snow right up to the Tuesday storm.

    And finally the Euro gets the bigger totals through all of Mass, thanks to that Cape Cod meso low providing an east flow.

    Do the computer models extrapolate historical data into their outputs? This is an unusual set-up -- will they incorporate prior similar set-ups into their forecast?

    Not the first time that sentiment's been expressed.

    Major fringe job by the Euro up in NW Mass. Looks like a quick hit from the initial fronto band, then the dry slot and 20 hours of weak echoes.

    Look at the huge difference in general intensity from 12z to 18z.

    The 3k is so hypersensitive -- it can go from 1.5 QPF to 0.3 and back to 1.5 in three runs. Right up to gameday.

    So now the GFS, which has been paltry for the Berks for days, has more than the Euro.
