  1. Euro has a pretty similar track to previous run, but amounts are an issue it can't resolve. Feeling decent about getting a bit of snow here.
  2. I bet Doug Heady jumps like this during big snowstorms too. I did the exact same thing last night, though. https://www.facebook.com/MeteorologistDougHeady/videos/2470748913199639/
  3. Not sure, and it's the NAM so I wouldn't worry about it. The exact track of everything is going to weeble-wobble from run to run. I wish it wasn't as narrow, but the system is positive tilted.
  4. 12z NAM looking good for I-44... Such a narrow band though. EDIT: 3KM NAM is farther SE and much narrower.
  5. How about them CHIEFS???? Fireworks going off here.
  6. I suspect it'll snow somewhere on Wed. Not sure where the heaviest will be and how heavy it is though.
  7. The big one is coming, expect maybe 1" of melty snow!
  8. Some bigger flakes mixed in with the dusting this morning.
  9. So, marginal snow event coming up in a few days? 12z Euro somewhat impressive.
  10. It will rise overnight. Just issues with wet bulbing and the air that was in place due to the elevation changes in that area.
  11. Nice cold rain. Good job proving how useless you are again, NAM.
  12. Yeah, forecast changed here, winter weather advisory now for accumulating ice. 18z NAM puts out 0.39" of freezing rain here with about 1" in SE KS and W-Central MO. Temp was supposed to get up to 41 today. It's 34....
  13. Except the 12z NAM is back with a whole lot of freezing rain.
  14. Not sure when the next one is, but differences between the Euro and GFS. Eventually we should probably get a western ridge and eastern trough again. Probably going to be a nice -EPO. The CFS has nothing but a -EPO look through the month of Feb.
  15. I don't really see a reason to get your hopes up for next weekend though. Maybe a little sleet to start but then probably warming up to rain?
  16. Predictable that the GFS was overdoing moisture back in the cold since the trough didn't have a big negative tilt to it plus there's an extensive squall line out ahead of the system that's going to rob moisture. Looks like some banding is possible and those areas will probably pick up the most. Otherwise it looks like a general 1-3" snowfall.
