  3. Tik tok is the number one source for lispy emotional wish casting.
  4. That's quite a bit of rain to be followed by snow and near single digit temps....even if it's not a freezing rain event at the onset.....it's gonna get interesting..... I don't think I've ever seen salt trucks out in a heavy rainstorm.........
  5. There was a hole in the wall gas station by 31 Flemington circle... No lines... Got lucky.. Wawa was like a parade
  6. I made it past sandy neighboring boroughs lost power for up to 3 weeks......I live 2 miles from the sub station...... 3 day later...some drunk asshole took out a telephone pole 100 yards from the substation..... Was powerless for a week and a half due to crews working on existing issues. Was a kick in the nutz

Good friend of mine left Ramrod Key at 7 this morning, trailering a 30' center console on the way back to CNJ.......didn't get my texts with the new model outputs and thought it was a bust going out to sea........... He's gonna have to back door it through PA to avoid the blizzard lolol
  9. mahwah NJ been snowing since 8am (now 247) I haven't seen a change in intesity all day.....I'll call it moderate flurries. Roads wet, grass white. If I were to guess temperature....30-33
  10. Rattled the liquor cabinet as a reminder to stock up for the weekend.
  11. Bridgewater (7 mins drive from the 287/78) 1" on roads 1.5 on vehicles Barely any precip at the moment I do see water droplets on tree branches....
  12. That was epic....all the soccer fields became ice hockey rinks. We had 4 games going on all day all week until it started to get too gritty. Never saw anything like it since. We had a solid 3 inches of ice out of that storm...on top of 10 inches of snow from a previous storm.....
  13. If my memory is accurate. 94 and 95 had brutal summers...hell week for fall sports was like running in baked concrete...no rain and 100 degree temps....had to fight for a spot on the team as a frosh
  14. I live in central jersey and it was either following the blizzard of 96 or in 94 We turned the soccer fields into ice hockey rinks. All the towns street hockey "players" we had a few groups who'd play on different freshly paved streets all over the town. All converged on the soccer fields, with ice skates. Schools were shut down for the entire week. We played ice hockey on socker fields monday thrhough friday. The first day I was able to ice skate across town to the soccer field which was a mile skate. Never experienced anything like it before or since. Inches of ice.
  15. I just looked at the radar for the first time since 7. I'll be damned if that band isn't just training right overhead.......If this keeps up for another few hours we'll have over a foot easily
  16. I'm next door in Bwater, Just walked to and back form the 4 h grounds....got more snow than expected in the whole storm in just the front end.
  17. 4" already on sidewalks and cars 2 and a half on roads......that was a half hour ago and it's snowing as hard if not harder Bridgewater nj
  18. Silver dollar flakes for the first 45, switched to narmal.....can barely make out blacktop, cars have an inch. Snowing pretty good. Bridgewater NJ
  19. Prior to the dry slotting....EPIC radar returns persisted overhead for a good hour and a half...... During that time there was zero precipitation of any kind what so ever. No sleet, no nothin.....barely any pixy dust floating around either. Cleaned off the cars again, chatted with the neighbors etc....... So much for "radar returns" I don't know what your total is thus far. But that onshore band had dropped waffle sized snowflakes for 2 hours leading up to noon.. Never saw anything like it...Light and fluffy waffles at that, which was crazy.
