we need geoengineering in the worst way, enough of this standing by and being mere observers and if we need to spend trillions of dollars on geoengineering the planet so be it.

I love geoengineering and I hate the Pacific Ocean, move half of that useless ocean to Mars for settlement and use the resulting freed up land surface area for an expanding human population. Moving water off the planet would also fix the sea level rise problem. I'd also take out the Gulf of Mexico enough of the humid nonsense that causes.

How much has CC influenced our current weather vs a regular -PNA pattern.....notice how the Pac NW is getting so much snow. How would our climate have been in December if there were no CC? I know we model different CC scenarios but do we also model what our climate would be like without any CC? Human influenced that is.

I hate this term-- it's just part of SE Asia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maritime_Continent It's a complete misnomer, it's not a continent it's just a collection of islands. I wondered why people on here use this term.....there are only 7 continents and nothing smaller than Australia should be considered a continent. I even have problems with Australia being considered a continent, it's basically a giant island.
