  1. why was he getting beaten up lol
  2. He probably hated the humidity and all the bugs.
  3. It looked like the Alps used to look in 1996 lol. It even beat PD2 although that was our previous record holder In Jan 1996 the snow drifts were so high the SUVs were getting stuck in them all over town. It all melted a week later in a flooding rainstorm and roof collapses though. That was a snowy winter with thaws in between, which is utterly fine.
  4. actually we dont need the rain and definitely dont want it. I remember the good old days when we averaged less than 40 inches of rain a year hopefully we're returning to that with drier springs and summers.
  5. hopefully it's hot and dry I'm done with rain for the entire year
  6. let me know if a tornado pops up lol
  7. actually we don't need this rain.
  8. that's where most of the snow will be, high mountains.
  9. we're going to break that 1932 record
  10. It's been around 55 all night
  11. 15"? I thought we got 10" like Central Park did lol. Jan 2016 was our one and only 30" :-) I got 30" at both my houses, two states apart, and that requires some doing, it was a straight latitude storm.
  12. This was Jan 2015? We didn't get the 3+ feet that the Euro originally predicted but I thought pretty much everyone got 8-10"?
  13. This feels like that famous song about New Years lol snow changing to rain and all that drinking lol
  14. Yes this is why I think that Jan 1932 record may fall. Models have been HIGHLY underperforming on the warmth.
  15. I would just like nice and sunny now regardless of temps (although warmth is preferred), let the west keep its rain there.
  16. Sorry about that man I had a new roof put in (for both my house and garage) a few years ago, and waited until the summer to do it, because that's when it usually doesn't precipitate here much.
  17. Cool aside from 93-94 and 95-96 the most exciting things about the 90s were the December 1992 noreaster, the March 1993 superstorm and my other favorite, the intense heat of 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1999. That's where I got my love of intense summer heat from.
  18. They've had quite the winter, from that area back to the Rockies seem to be where arctic air masses go now, as has been the case for several years now.
  19. Is the air going to be dry, Don? The lows I saw looked like above freezing every night from here through the end of the month.
  20. I wonder if that means more trouble for the west too....
  21. They keep playing it up on ABC saying every day for the entire month will be above normal and both days on the weekend will hit 50 and that we'll hit 50 tonight too.
  22. a year after that you were happy, Jan 2016 was the FAR superior storm
  23. winds could approach 60 late tonight
  24. Good chances we beat Jan 1932 for warmest January ever Don?
