    Enjoy the snow ladies and gentlemen as I sit here on pins and needles in NY getting updates from my son who is currently driving home from my house to Charlotte NC,,,he past DC a half hour ago and NO SNOW YET thankfully

    Enjoy the snow my Southern friends as I am in New York,,,,,,my son is leaving my house ( NY ) this morning driving to Charlotte N C does anyone have a start time for this down South / does it begin after midnight or earlier ? Will my kid be ok ? Thanks in advance

    New City / Rockland here ---I went to bed it was snowing lightly,,,,,woke up to a nice few inches more on top of what had already fallen yesterday THIS IS GREAT and to you guys who were saying this " might happen : congrats you had it right and did good Enjoy your snow ANTHONY = Merry Christmas

    Anyone care to guess at what shape Milton will be in when he gets to the East Coast of Florida, what do you think the strength will be and also any guesstimate as to what part of the East coast he exits at ? MIL is in Boynton Beach but they live inland thankfully and the storm as of now appears at least to me to exit NORTH of them

    I have not read thru the thread but I have a question = How often has a Hurricane that has affected Florida originated from the Gulf don't they usually come up from the southern Gulf or loop around after they were initially heading west ? A hurricane starting directly from the southwestern Gulf, like Milton did, and heading due east into Florida's west coast is definitely IMO not common but has THIS ever happened in the past ? Thanks for any replies

    I was driving earlier around 630 from Pearl River heading home to New City , called my kid at work told him be careful driving home as I am in a monsoon right now,,,,,kid said it was not raining in New City ( he was right it was not when I got there ) but my oh my did the rain start coming down as soon as I got into my driveway ----looking at my pool and skimmer right now I guesstimate that we got at least 2 inches ( maybe more ) so far its 830

    Well if you have things to do outside, gardening etc my suggestion is to do it now as it is currently sunny and dry in my neck of the woods but that looks to change bigly later on

    IF someone like myself has been too lazy to keep track of it = Is there a site that monitors or keeps up to date snow totals for Rockland County ?
