Maybe thats what we need heading towards next winter which is LOW expectations going in and people predicting little IF any snow and then for Mother Nature to rock all our worlds and bury us with several snowstorms so that people stay humble,,,,,yeah thats the ticket

37 degrees in New City / Rockland County and yes the rain is coming down

I am looking at the radar but hard to tell how far north those heavier bands are actually getting,,,,,,anyone know the answer ? BTW once it began it never stopped snowing here in New City and it is just now starting to stick on surfaces that were treated / in the street on the blacktop

Those darker " red " colors are getting awfully close to my area on the radar = safe to say pleasantly surprised as light snow is still falling in New City with an encouraging looking radar " thus far "

Maybe one of the more knowledgeable fellows or ladies can chime in on why I am seeing lite snow 20 miles North of the GW Bridge right now and again snow flakes are falling here
