    Rob , thanks ps I hope you enjoyed as I am shot myself we went to visit a neighbor for what was supposed to be a quick 10 minute visit and it turned out to be a 3 hour continuation of more wine and laughs ,,,enjoy the snow brother I hope Mother Nature gives us a belated Christmas gift,,,,,,,to those playing along at home the NWS upped totals overnight in my area ( New City Rockland ) from 4-8 to now 5- 9

    I am beyond happy with the amount of snow we have here in New City Rockland County as I expected an inch maybe 2 and this event is definitely doing much better than it was advertised -----Merry Christmas everyone THIS IS GREAT !

    pleasantly surprised as its 32 in New City and I would guesstimate that we have 2 inches give or take,,,,my son is visiting with his dog who rarely sees snow and she and I are in the back yard loving this !!!! And to you naysayers and haters who said this wouldn't be possible, well I got 3 words for ya " Let It Snow "

    Insane winds Bx I went to DeCiccos New City and it started to pour and the Salvation Army guy ran for cover as his tripod and donation bucket went sailing down the pavement ----my son calls me while this is going and and our 20 foot Santa which was not inflated at the time but on the ground is in the neighbors yard and he tells me one of our wreaths was turned into a UFO and that as soon as he retrieves the Santa he will get on the wreath ,,,,,,crazy winds

    Heading outside now,,,,,not disappointed at all and I hope everyone enjoys the snow that they got I will measure in a bit and the temps here in new city are dropping

    I just woke up and I will venture outside shortly ,,,light snow falling in New City / Rockland County -----everything is white including pavement and street

    IF this possible moderate " snow event " pans out and is the real deal that makes most people in this forum ( besides Snowy ) Happy then no offense to Anthony or anyone else but I suggest that WeatherGeek2025 ,,,, be the person to start the next storm discussion as well and IF he does good again , heck he can do it for the rest of the winter !!!!

    My son is planning on driving early AM Sunday from Charlotte to NYC and these models flipping and the lack of certainty is driving me to drink,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,in other news does anyone have a guesstimate as to how the winds might effect the Monday Nite Football Game in Washington vs Bears ?

    Well it held out long enough for us to get a good part of our yard sale in that said I began watching the radar like a hawk after my last post and we got everything inside just before it began to pour so thats a homer,,,,,,,,was and still am hoping we can get part 2 of the yard sale in tomorrow but it looks like Mother Nature has other plans

    I just looked at the radar ps New City Rockland County checking in and I see a few things popping up as I type just to my west ,,,,,I hope it holds off until tonight
