Guys a little help what's the difference between meter air temp and HPA air temp is one surface and the other just above the surface ? Thanks in advance
To me and I am just a novice but it seems that the models have been a roller coaster and I am talking with the previous events as well. I see you guys are saying this one particular model or that model nailed it with previous storms but again to me the models have spit out different solutions from day to day never mind run to run. Again that is just my opinion and what I have seen---in other news before any of us proclaim which model was all over this Monday / Tuesday event shouln't we wait until it actually happens or is over to say that, I mean again if you looked at yesterdays runs compared to todays they are different and my guess is the overnight runs could easily ( they shouldn't in theory but in likelihood could ) not look anything like todays or yesterdays runs.
hey 88 and others I understand it is what the models are showing and foolish not to keep an eye on it but don't the models usually have a difficult time with Ice ? I mean when they are showing ice or Z a few days before the event isn't it usually something else besides ice ?
Pruf I will let you know when I get there as that is the plan but I believe you are mistaken as I can just about guarantee you that I will not only miss snow tremendously but when I am in Florida in the months of July and August and there is not enough baby powder in the world to take care of how moist I will be we can relive this conversation now back to how damn cold it is out there today.
I have to tell ya Pruf I have lived in Rockland over 20 years and I NEVER GET SICK OF THE SNOW. The thought of moving to Florida seems depressing to me.
