    Thunder and lightning a few hours ago,,,,and it absolutely poured here , I am currently pumping a lot of water off of my pool cover. So much for the warmth and humidity as it cooled off big time out there

    I pumped close to 2 inches out of my pool in anticipation of tonight and my pool water is currently above my skimmer , we got a lot of water in New City and its still coming down hard

    BX, I can vouch for this ( New City here ) and I will have to get some out of my pool soon as it has really filled up the past hour or so

    New City, Rockland County checking in and in the last hour or so we have picked up a little over an inch of rain

    Ant when are you leaving today ? My buddy is in Delaware and just called me I told him to stay by his son til tomorrow because he has to head to Long Island and I see the Belt Parkway is under water in spots and Im sure the Cross Island is no bargain,,,anyone else chime in let me know your thoughts my advice was stay til tomorrow

    Maybe all the praying and dancing to the Gods that I have been doing has paid off because so far no rain here and people are coming over my house around 6 give or take an hour,,,,,do I need to throw a virgin into the volcano to be on the safe side or do you guys think I can squeak this party out at my house ? Im watching the radar like a hawk

    Ladies and Gents models do not look good to me,,,,,we have a party here in Rockland County / New City tonight , so any chance the weather breaks for a period of time and I am able to get some of these people outside in my backyard or do I treat this like Super Bowl Party and we are strictly indoors ?

    geez,,,,supposed to drive up to Buffalo on Friday morning and drive back Saturday and just looked at this,,,,okay time to pay more attention to the model runs. You guys keep the updates coming as some of us have a vested interest

    It is raw and miserable out there in New City I have COLD rain falling its 38 degrees and just plain old yuck

    Rockland County New City checking in,,,wet HEAVY snow here I would guesstimate we have 2 inches on the ground and still coming down

    New City checking in 25 degrees ( feels colder ) as I just walked there dog and went up and down the driveway with a shovel,,,,,,no zr or freezing rain here, I am looking forward to anther 2-4 inches tomorrow , what a great February this has been, this is what every winter should be like for 3 months straight but I will take an entire winter wrapped up in 1 month lol

    The location of that 1033 High to our North is key also ,no ? Is that High really more west ? If so wouldn't it force the low to move East ? To get a better storm where would the ideal location for that High be ?
