    MJO, How will will know IF that low actually becomes the dominant low , would that come down to nowcasting or is there someway to tell ahead of time if that energy gets transferred ? Is there a way other than Looking at Radar ?

    Clarkstown is a shitshow, as they did not treat roads and did not delay school openings = accidents everywhere. The calls are now coming in that schools are delayed and closed after the kids have already left for or arrived at school,,,,,,geez this is a train wreck

    Roads in my town are horrendous this morning,,,no school delays and roads not treated = bad accidents and chaos everywhere--> they really screwed up this morning

    Where are all you fellas who say how well the models usual do ? As far as the rest of you guys who are giving up on this or living model run to model run / or shooting this one down with more than 2 days to go = all I can say is I don't know as much as most of you ( not even close ) but I know enough to see that the threat is still out there and very much alive. There is a long way to go with this one it is far from a done deal -->either way. Now carry on

    JT I have zero shot at this one I am in Rockland but I am looking at the radar ( have been for a while) and by all reports what the radar is showing is not snow in some places

    Radar does look good BUT is it snowing that far north ? Most likely ,,,,NO

    Yep it is so close yet so far,,,,,hoping the models bust and this thing is much farther North than advertised , Rockland has no shot at this but maybe the 5 boroughs can get into the action

    NAO,,, if you were at the crap table in Vegas right now and we still had 36 hours to go and other model runs would you put all you chips in the center and say "not much will happen " ----- I wouldn't but thats me as I think this still has a long ways to go

    Feel better,,,,and rest,,,,,and in my experience = get yourself plenty of Vitamin C and Zinc and if you can get some quercetin it should help,,,now can we all get back to weather ?

    I cannot wait to settle in tonight / relax and make a fire in my fireplace in other news it is 32 degrees here right now ( cold enough to snow and stick )
